Tucker already in trouble and it’s not even launched?
TVNewser has some insider dirt on Tucker Carlson’s “The Situation”.
If this is true (and there’s no way to know if agendas are involved in the way this story reads) and MSNBC has spent this long trying to get this show off the ground and it’s still in this bad a shape, then one has to seriously question what is going on over at Secaucus. And if I were Rita Cosby I might be wondering if signing that contract was such a great idea. If this is true that is.
On the other hand, I’ve never ever seen Pardon The Interruption or its knockoffs (this is Inside Cable News not Inside Cable Sports after all and the NHL is still locked out so I have no reason to watch ESPN). So maybe the show will work for me. I guess we shall see in a couple of weeks.
Another thought: How much of this show’s development was Phil Griffin’s idea? And now that Griffin has been plucked from MSNBC, if the show bombs does he get a pass because he wasn’t there for its actual launch?
