What’s Happening at CNN got a tip that Carol Lin has left CNN. John Klein has apparently denied this is the case. So what’s the story?

For what it’s worth, her profile is still up on CNN.com…that being said I don’t know why this random story would pop up like this unless there was some truth behind it…I guess she must have left (although why? i’m pretty sure she’s the one who wanted weekend shifts, no?)

remember seeing a story on that blog about orlen sydney leaving at the end of april. Her bio stayed up until last week. Who knows. Can only wonder who that ‘certain’ blogger was that’s referred to. Probably have a GOOD idea who it was. And like JK would honestly tell someone “left” since it probably was a persoanl matter. but who knows. I think the blogger appropriatly described where it came from, the tip box. kinda like they report, u decide.

I checked the bio page the moment I read that news and yeah it’s still up. Then again MSNBC.com had the dubious distinction of keeping Bob Arnott’s bio page up a full year after he wasn’t renewed.

there’s probably more TRUTH than not. until that “certain” blogger posts the “denial” on his blog that he’s posted everywhere else, i’ll wait and see. anyone who believes a word out of JK’s mouth, i’d refer you to CNN’s ratings!

Well I have to say that JK is a bit of a joker. I haven’t been able to take him seriously for several months now. Per this Carol Lin story, if the rumor is that she WANTED to be there bc she liked the weekend, I’d be surprised. I think she opted out bc she didn’t want the shift anymore.

What I wanna know is who the heck died and made TV Newser god of all the cable news blogs? Reminds me of a certain so called cable “news” channel. The “tip jar” is just that, read it for what it’s worth.

Not sure what TV Newser has to do with this when the info was from What’s Happening at CNN. TV Newser hasn’t mentioned this “tip” from what I have seen.

tvnewser posted on one of the cnnfan blogs that he asked Jon Klein if Carol Lin had left or was leaving CNN and his response was “no.” Also, after Carol had her baby and her husband died, she apparently requested weekends so that she could spend more time with her baby.
