Prime time cable plans…
Expect the London bombing coverage to continue on throughout the evening and into the night. On FOX, O’Reilly is returning from vacation to anchor his program tonight and FOX will continue live coverage after 11 pm.
What’s Happening At CNN has that network’s coverage plans posted.
MSNBC will have on its regular lineup and hasn’t announced any post 11 p.m. coverage as of yet.

CNN: Christiane Amanpour, Richard Quest, Fionnuala Sweeney, Becky Anderson, Paula Hancocks, and Alessio Vinci are just some of the correspondents who have fanned out throughout London. En route to London right now: Anderson Cooper, Jim Clancy, Zain Verjee, Jennifer Eccleston and John Vause.
NBC: Stone Phillips is already in London, and anchors Campbell Brown and John Seigenthaler will be there soon. Correspondents Ron Allen, James Hattori and Jim Maceda are already on the scene; Soon they will be joined by Keith Miller and Janet Shamlian. MSNBC’s Tucker Carlson will depart for London after tonight’s Situation, and will host special editions of the show on Friday and Saturday.
FOX pulled Amy Kellog from the G-8 and is reporting from London. Dana Lewis and Greg Burke will be on this evening. FOX will be on throughout the night with coverage. 2-4am EST will be anchored by Stuart Varney & Jamie Colby. 3-5am EST will be anchored by Alisyn Camerota & Rick Folbaum. Fox & Friends First will begin at its usual time. Fox & Friends will be on at 7 with E.D. Hill, Brian Kilmeade & Simon Marks
What the hell? This blog has become a Fox News mouthpiece. Isn’t that why you created this thing in the first place, to balance Tvnewser??? Pathetic.

Hardly. Nothing I’ve written about FOX is spin or untrue. If I were a FOX mouthpiece my duty would be to cover FOX and only FOX and always put FOX in the best light possible. There are blogs out there who do just that and I don’t need to name which one I’m thinking of because its obvious (though it’s not TVNewser). That’s not what I’ve done in the past with the blog and it’s not what I will do in the future. Just because I asked FOX what their plans were for tonight and they answered doesn’t make me a mouthpiece. Remember FOX does not have its own PR website like MSNBC and CNN have, where press releases are posted.
Besides everyone knows this blog is all about MSNBC….

I won the bet. Focks just couldn’t help it self by squeezing some natalie holloway into the mix. just amazing. all we’ve missed today is the usual hillary bashing on focks. maybe they did do that too while i was watching another channel.

Ha…if by “using me” they’re relaying information on what’s going on with their network, then I guess they’re using me. I don’t have a problem with relaying facts. I would have a problem with relaying spin that isn’t justified by the facts. And that hasn’t happened. Nor will I allow it to.
Furthermore I’ve taken all three networks to the woodshed numerous times for various things. I don’t play favorites.
The day you can show that ICN relayed false or misleading information from FOX, then you can squawk about ICN selling out to FOX. Until that day, you can’t. And it says a hell of a lot more about your dislike for FOX than it does about ICN.
And for the record, ICN isn’t about being a balance to TV Newser. It might have been for a couple of the original gang who were here at the beginning. But they’re gone now and I was never on board with the “TV Newser truth squad” thing. My reasons for blogging have nothing to do with what TV Newser does or doesn’t do.

It IS amazing. Greta seems to do anything for ratings. She just can’t help but talk about Natalee. And she’s getting big ratings so someone is watching. I for one am tired of it.

Yeah, I tend to agree. It’s a big ratings thing but is that level of coverage really justified? I could make a strong case that it isn’t. I would really like to see the cable nets, particularly FOX, get away from the “missing white girl of the month” thing. But it’s hard to argue convincingly when the ratings say otherwise…

But how does Fox determine who the mising white girl of the month is? They dropped Shasta Groene in a New York minute. But this Hollaway girl has captivated them. I can’t figure it out. Is it the mother and her money?

NO. It’s the fact that the americans over there and focks wants things to move along more quickly. Focks is on the kick that aruba is trying to bury this thing and screw the americans. And Focks want stand for that being the US watchdog they are. I am sure focks is already planing a boycott aruba campaign, and smear campaign against the country. Heck, focks just might convince bush to bomb the country thinking that might help. BUT then who knows. The mother maybe paying for all the media attention. Then that would explain why greta just has to devote at least a portion of her program to the case every night.
