Friday’s Numbers…
Lots of strange things going on Friday. Grace clobbered Zahn nearly 2:1 (ok, that’s not that strange). Greta beat O’Reilly without having to go over the 2,000,000 mark. HLN beat CNN in the Prime Time Demo and came within 8,000 of beating them in the daytime Demo as well. MSNBC cratered in Prime Time. The Situation did its usual 150,000 and yet that was still more than enough to make Countdown (sub host) the lowest rated show for MSNBC prime time.

No surprise with Grace beating Zahn. I guess MSNBC is saying that Carlson is still trying to find an audience. I’m shocked at O’Reilly’s #s because doesn’t he usually average like a 2.5

O’Reilly wasn’t hosting on Friday; he had the night off.

Excuses, excuses, excuses JD. Why do always have to make EXCUSES for a fox failure?

What’s your problem? Where’s the failure? What’s the “excuse”? Even with O’Reilly not on the air The Factor still gets more viewers than the others combined. I think CNN and MS would love to have to make “excuses” for that kind of “failure”.

I agree with JD actually. There’s no reason for pointing and laughing. FNC’s ongoing domination in the ratings is NOT a failure. If Barbera Walters took over for a few nights in Jimmy Kimmel’s place, no one would watch. (Ok, maybe thats a bit extreme). In any case, weird numbers indeed, but certainly not anything that FNC should be worried about IMHO.

“O’Reilly wasn’t hosting on Friday; he had the night off.”–Fox always says that when he’s gone. Just making EXCUSES for the lower than normal #’s. And that’s called an EXCUSE!

Yes, Fox always says that he wasn’t there when he was gone. That works a lot better than saying he wasn’t there when he was. In fact, this Fox tactic of saying he wasn’t there when he wasn’t there has been so revolutionary that now CNN is saying Larry King wasn’t there when HE was gone. Oh no, the Foxification of News! When will it stop!

Boy JD got your panties in a wad? Better take your prozac! AND I have NEVER heard CNN say that, JUST YOU AND Fox! Excuses, excuses, excuses are all you can offer!

Why are you anonymous? So you can take cheap shots at people? Or play both sides of the field?
