Supreme Court announcement coverage plans…
On FOX, Brit Hume will anchor coverage beginning at 9 PM followed by a panel discussion for a half hour. Hannity & Colmes will follow for half an hour and then a full hour of On The Record. On The FOX broadcast network, Shepard Smith will anchor the coverage.
UPDATE: MSNBC will have Brian Williams anchor the coverage of the announcement. ICN had earlier said that Mathews would do it but ICN forgot that Mathews was out last week and is out again this week (so far at least…Dan Abrams will be doing Hardball according to today’s Daily Briefing).
CNN didn’t announce who is anchoring the coverage but they have noted on their schedule that Larry King will be doing post announcement reaction.

I’ll be checking out FNC tonight. Hume and Co. always provide the best coverage and analysis IMO.

I agree that Hume and Co provide the best coverage and analysis. I’ll watch them. I’ll turn off H&C because they’ve been too soft for me lately, with their sudden interest in Natalee Holloway (ratings)?

FNC, You Politics News Channel. Hey there’s a thought. FNC should do all politics all the time since that seems to be what they cover best.

Hmm…What’s the big story of the day? Yes, the Supreme Court Nominee being announced. What is Greta covering on her program? YES, you win again, the holloway story. Is there still a story here? Get on with other things.

At least FOX didn’t cut into Pres Bush’s announcement with BREAKING NEWS about the Holloway story. They showed such restraint.

I bet it was quite difficult for them.

Unbelievable! I tuned in to catch a little of H & C’s debate over Pres Bush’s nominee. They were interviewing, guess who, Jug Twitty who weighed in on the nomination. Unbelievable!
