Wednesday’s Numbers

FOX beat all the other cable news networks combined both in Total Day and Prime Time viewership. From 7-11 pm FOX’s individual programs beat all the other corresponding cable shows combined. Grace pounded Paula. MSNBC took it on the chin. It came within 2,000 of dropping to 5th for Total Day viewership. Connected double scratched at 5 pm (all the news channels scratched in the 5 pm Demo except FOX). Jim Cramer beat Dan Abrams. The Situation had more viewers than Countdown.

Bombing coverage notes…

WHAC has a great rundown on what CNN has been doing.

TVNewser noted that on MSNBC Brian Williams turned the coverage back over to MSNBC talent at 11:12 am. ICN wonders, given recent statements by Neal Shapiro and Mark Effron, if that would have still happened if there had been a sizeable body count?

Here’s the rundown of who was on first with the news…

FNC: 8:19:16 am
CNN: 8:22:09 am
MSNBC: 8:23:17 am

Shepard Smith is coming in from vacation to anchor Studio B and The FOX Report but outside of that there are no plans to alter regular programming
