Tuesday’s Numbers (includes Shuttle Numbers)…
FOX had another huge evening. For starters FOX’s Demo beat CNN’s Total Viewer number in Primetime. On the Record broke another record for 2005 by coming within a whisker of 3,000,000 viewers. O’Reilly’s demo numbers beat Zahn’s total viewer number for the second night in a row. And, in what is getting dangerously close to going from being an occasional trend to becoming the norm, Grace beat Zahn. Larry King was flat last night considering the levels of the prior two CNN shows. MSNBC cratered in daytime. Not even the Shuttle launch was enough to keep MSNBC from 4th place. Hardball’s Boots On The Ground Special nearly sunk below The Situation for lowest rated MSNBC program. Abrams beat Cramer. Scarborough Country was big for MSNBC last night. Deutsch continues to scratch away in both the Total Viewer and Demo numbers.

MSNBC’s peak numbers are bizarre. They peaked after the shuttle lifted off but before NBC dumped coverage. So where did the viewers come from and why? Perhaps channel hopping occurred from one or more of the other channels to MSNBC after the launch was over to get another perspective. Or maybe people who were tuned in to the NASA channel switched over. Who knows?
Interesting that there’s less disparity between the peak and average numbers for CNN than for MSNBC or FOX. I’m not convinced about how significant that is as a statistic though…

I’m not a Greta fan and don’t watch her show. But, those are some big numbers. (including the key demo)

Scaborough’s show last night was the best yet. His scoop on the cruise ship mystery was great. No one had the photo he had, to my knowledge. Greta has been so good, too, during the Aruba story. But I have watched Joe’s numbers continue to grow.

Joe Scarbrough isn’t bad, I was watching last night. He is the only part of the primetime they should keep.

I cannot believe Greta gets so many viewers! I mean, personally I find her show boring so that means like, Aaron Brown must be the worst show ever.

I can’t believe she got that either! I watched it last night, nothing really exciting…

Grace came very, very close to beating LKL. Somebody get Larry King off there please!!!Jeff Corwin…Come on CNN. It’s CNN, not Animal Planet. Obviously the new PZN and AC 360 producers brought nothing new.

Watch greta’s numbers tumble when natalie is found, dead or alive. And I tried to watch FNC today, from what I could see it’s all about politics. FNC would be NO WHERE without politics.

You have to give Larry King credit, though. He’s about the only one who doesn’t cover the Holloway story every single day. But the one day he covered it for the whole hour, he racked up huge ratings.
