Tuesday’s Numbers…
A big night for FOX. All its prime time shows were over 2.2 million viewers. MSNBC’s decision to go on with wall to wall Toronto Air France coverage with Chris Jansing and Dan Abrams paid off for it as it got significantly higher ratings than it would have if it had run Hardball at 7 pm. And the viewer interest continued on throughout the evening for MSNBC (except for The Situation). Newsnight with Aaron Brown had a big night with over 800,000 viewers.

You need to make a correction in your second sentence. FOX Report with Shepard Smith - 1,352,000 viewers…that’s not over 2 million. Might be if you use Bush’s fuzzy math formula though.

Isn’t prime time 8-10?
Comment by Terance — August 3, 2005 @ 8:29 pm
Terance is correct. Primetime is 8-11. Usually I put “Evening and Priemtime Breakdown” up there but I see I left off the “Evening” part of the sentence today…

Wow. How is Fox doing such big numbers during the summer…sn’t this the slow period? I guess they’re bucking the trend. Has CNN ever had a program that hits 2 million viewers?

And guess what Hume led with last night? Not the plane crash, not the carnage in Iraq–with a piece on how great Bush is doing!
Comment by Just Saying — August 3, 2005 @ 10:51 pm
Actually Brit Hume led with a piece on the signing of the free trade agreement, which included Bush’s latest poll numbers (47% favorable).

Good point, Schyler…when was the last time CNN hit the big ole’ 2 million mark in anything? It’s been a tough time for them, but I continue to suspect their failures rest on the shoulders of the Kleiner.

Wouldn’t this be Tuesday’s numbers? Plane crashed Tuesday.

It appears that the left is intrenched in the HATE BUSH mindset that they have lost all perspective of reality.

CNN actually scored a 3.4 during the Jackson verdict.

The reality is that Bush is hated all over the world, and here’s someone who’s not on the left who agrees he deserves it.
