Thursday’s Numbers…

FOX News had a big day, buoyed by the Gaza pullout coverage and Jennifer Griffin’s reporting thereof. It averaged over a million viewers in daytime. The fracas in Gaza also rubbed off on CNN which caused The Situation Room to break 500,000 for the first time. According to what TVNewser has been reporting today Bob Costas bagged doing LKL last night because of the subject matter. Though Costas got a case of journalistic backbone to swear off tabloid TV for an hour, the audience apparently didn’t because it was the highest rated episode of LKL this week so far. The Situation with(out) Tucker Carlson scratched last night.

Slow News Day…

How Slow? ICN’s first article of the day is what’s coming up on Scarborough Country next week according to today’s news release…..

MONDAY:
John Walsh, host of “America’s Most Wanted” will talk about how to protect your kids - he’ll discuss a new DVD for kids that teaches them how to protect themselves.
Also, Scarborough’s continuing campaign to stop repeat sex predators preying on children.

TUESDAY:
Bill Maher will discuss the new season of HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher.” He will also chat about his new book, “New Rules: Polite Musings from a Timid Observer.”

WEDNESDAY:
** Scarborough Country Special**
An hour-long look into the honeymoon cruise ship investigation

THURSDAY:
The Teutuls, the father-son team from Discover Channel’s “American Chopper” will discuss the start of their new season.

FRIDAY:
John O’Neill of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth will talk to Scarborough in his first television interview since the election.
