FOX to run extended coverage tonight…
On The Record will be on for two hours tonight to cover the hurricane aftermath. Meanwhile an emailer notes that Rita Cosby will be doing Hurricane coverage as well as reporting on the Holloway case from Aruba again tonight…

I was just an MSNBC news update. Sandwiched between the Iraq constitution and the destruction of Katrina was a piece on the Holloway case. Incredible.

Why tonight? I guess they can always fill it with the aruba/natalee holloway soap opera

Haven’t seen the Aruba promo since this morning. Maybe they’ve decided to wait.

CNN is also running extensive coverage all night including a 2 hour Newsnight as has been done since Sunday night. Unfortunately for FNC and MSNBC the Hurricane coverage is crimping their Holloway coverage. Rita didn’t seem to pick the right week to go down there. Was also surprised to see Bill O’ Reilly take the night OFF. Knew he came in from vacation for mondays’ show but now it looks like john kasick (sp) will be finishing out the week from NY for O’Reilly.

Always fun to watch fnc in the middle of the night trying to cover a story. They just can’t seem to find anyone to talk to because everyone is doing the smart thing and sleeping. Lord help should its people not get their beauty sleep.

AA - How often do you stay up and watch news coverage in the overnight hours?
…thought so.
