Would you rather FOX ignore her plight and hope that Search and Rescue can eventually get around to her at some point? I cut them some slack on this. This isn’t that much different from what CNN is doing with its Victims and Relief Desk except that it was done in person.

Everyone here seems to be missing the whole point… this FABULOUS 71 year old woman.. the epitomy of the American Spirit!! She decided to not to evacuate and leave her “elderly dog”, so she got herself organized w/ 2 weeks worth of food and water for herself and her dog, and then waited almost a week AFTER the hurricane to even call for help, as she had been listening to her radio and knew others needed help more than she did. And even when she DID finally call in to alert someone as to her whereabouts, she said no rush, she would still be OK for another a week! I would have gone after her too… not for the press coverage, but just to get to MEET her! Tenacious, undaunted….Floritta… you are AMAZING! You go Girl!

Happy Floritta and Dusty the dog were rescued…and hope he survived being dragged by that soldier!
BY THE WAY…WERE HAS VP DICK CHENEY BEEN FOR THE LAST 8 DAYS????? NO ONE on any news media reports have said ONE word about the MIA VP…how WEIRD that a countrie VP would not show his face…HOW ODD no reporters mention it…has everyone been paid off to keep quite?
