VP Cheney makes comments live…
CNN and Fox are covering it live. MSNBC is not or it dumped quickly and missed a lot of Cheney’s Q&A. They’re interviewing someone who survived the hurricane in New Orleans. Can anyone tell me if MSNBC covered this at all?

CNN and FOX covered the whole thing live. MSNBC did the interview you mentioned and ran commercials. They skipped it entirely.

Lucky me. I watched it on Fox, still smarting from the unbelievable interview with that idiot who wanted $20,000 to start a new life!!

MSNBC has made some really poor decision since Hurrican Katrina. There have been several press conferences in which they either didn’t air at all or didn’t air in its entirety. Sometimes being different is good but not in these instances.

I seriously wonder if this was a “being different” thing or something else entirely…

Spud, care to elaborate on that?

Not really. It would be idle speculation…
