Q:Where is Rudi Baktihar? Is she gone from CNN?
Looks like she is. Here’s what the cable news channel had to say: “Rudi is no longer with CNN. She has recently gone through the protracted illness and ultimate loss of her father. She is taking this time to be with her family.”
RUUDDIIII!!!!!
How can I possibly enjoy CNN now?

I’m sure it was her decision to leave. She’ll show up on some broadcast network local affiliate in a couple of years.

There were some very mean things said about her on the cable news blogs. Let’s hope she reappears soon without all the crap. I understand the cut throat aspects of the news business, but this was a case of bad things happening to nice people.

She worked very hard for every chance she got. She may not have been the easiest person to work with, but so what? Like Jennings or Couric are walks in the park? I hope she returns to the news world soon.

I still miss her at CNN, They are not the same without her, i sure hate their news format now!!i’ve changed to Others including Fox where Rudi is now!! However, i have not been able to see her yet in there, my schedule does not coincide with her stories!! I hope she anchors again soon and i will be paying more attention to both, domestic and International news!! it’s a beauty to the eyes to see her!! Robin does not even come close!!
