Well, BEFORE this two hour NN with Aaron and Anderson, Aaron was managing editor of NN, which I assume means he was pretty much running his own show.

It might have been "all Brown" last night, but David Doss, EP for 360 and now NN, was still running the show, not Aaron.

Funny I haven't heard "devasting" or "devasted" even once. But then again, they aren't real words.

It's only NEWS the moment it happened. FNC did a 15 second one liner then by the time they got back to the NEWS, it was HISTORY. I'd rather have NEWS than HISTORY, BUT that's why I don't watch FNC.

And really love the difference in coverage today of the libby indictment. How many times will FNC use the adjective 'devasting' to how this effects the bush administration. Sounds like FNC is devasted that they have to report about this.

Lets remember that Aaron Brown doesn't run his program any longer...Klein has given the helms to Anderson Cooper and his EP from 360. Aaron would never have given this much time to a murder case.

First reports are usually 15-second one-liners. But you conveniently didn't bother mentioning that she devoted much more time than that to the story, interviewing Parks's attorney live on air. Then she turned to another story--not Aruba, as you suggested, but Baghdad bombings. If you're going to criticize Greta's program, fine. But at least tell the truth about what aired.

hey jd

fnc's first initial report was a 15 second one liner...6 minutes after cnn covered the NEWS complete with obit package and the bit. Hmm..which can make one wonder IF CNN was where FNC 'got word' of park's death. Greta didn;t quote a source during the 15 second mention, just that fnc has gotten word. Yea, probably by watching CNN!

Mr. Journalist Aaron Brown had Nancy Grace on his show last night as well as a whole report on the Pam Vitale murder that included Gloria ALlred. t was really something to see, this type of tabloid journalism on Aaron Brown's show. If you're going to point fingers, be sure to point them in all directions.

MSNBC has been atrocious in its coverage of this indictment. I love Tucker Carlson, but his sources were totally wrong this week. He first came on Scarborough on Tuesday, I believe, stating that indictments would be handed down, probably, that very night, and that we were to stay tuned to his program to await such announcements. And similar comments were made the next few nights. But nothing!

And Norah O'Donnell just can't seem to keep her glee a secret! Whenever she's introduced to speak on the topic, she comes on, with the most brightest smile, with an expression more joyful than I have ever seen! She acts as if someone has just given her hundreds of millions of dollars! She will truly be heartbroken if Rove and/or others is not tarred and feathered and hung out to dry! No media bias?

How's it breaking news that someone "might" get indicted? That would be speculation until it actually happens. I was watching MSNBC a little while ago and I think they used the term "likely". People rip on FNC for speculation, commentary, and opinion. Well, I was watching Wolf Blitzer yesterday and between all the "uh's". He was casting out his fishing rod quite often. So, people need to actually watch all the channels like me, to see whats really going on!

Well "Anonymous" is not exactly telling the truth. Greta did report on the death of RP, including a live interview with Rosa Parks's attorney. After which she went not to Aruba talk but rather to a segment on the bombings in Iraq. So our friend "Anonymous" is not exactly a reliable source.

As for the Leak case and the Times report, they were covered in Greta's last two segments Thursday night with former special pros Michael Zeldin and one of the Wilson family neighbors.

Yes, MSNBC was first. Tucker Carlson has great exchanges with Joe Scaborough regarding political events, and did so again during this breaking news. They are at the top of their games right now, bantering about White House officials twisting in the wind.
Of course when Joe slips back into ambulance chasing, things spiral downward.
I was stunned that Fox gave so little attention to this breaking news. But I am disenchanted with Greta. Her grab for ratings has diminished her and her show. For Greta to not discuss this breaking news story is stunning. Fox should have intervened.

Did/do you expect Greta to talk about anything other than nancy holloway? She/FNC sure didn't do much on the rosa parks death the other night. She did a 15 second/one line fox news alert on that news then immediately went back to the nancy holloway soap opera. Why would greta want to interrupt that for news?
