I miss his brand of journalism, which was not for sensationalism but given as the account of a journalist who felt comfortable in his own skin, and did not have to rely on novelty and hype. We no longer have hsi brand of reporting, and I think itʻs not to the credit of his successors, although I donʻt dislike Anderson Cooper, who has shown himself to be fair-minded, sincere and remarkably honest. But was it Anderson Cooperʻs vanderbilt wealth that c caused him to replace Aaron Brown? If so, I regret it, because we need different kinds of people reporting the news --both kinds the Browns and the Coopers to get perspectives and values without the hype of a Fox Channel. He was insightful and we understood his speech completely. CNN made a huge mistake when they let him go so we do not watch AC360 but FOX and MSNBC are pretty good. Well...kudos to those who love coverage of Scott Peterson, Natalee Holloway, Michael Jackson etc. / they need their "Enquirer" fix every day I guess and they shouldn't have any trouble finding it as that's just about the only kind of "news" the cable "news programs" are offering. When will some network head wake up and give thought to the fact that there is an audience out there (actually a huge one)for thoughtful, concise and contradictory NEWS coverage? If that ever happens, they will give FOX a run for their money. Wake Up! If he never gets back on the air, of course I'll miss his unique style, but the best source for news these days is the internet, especially when your campus has a computer lab around every corner and a school-wide wireless network. But if Brown ever pops up on tv again, I'll be there watching, no matter what network it is. Well, since Aaron left CNN, I’ve just been getting my news on the internet, newspapers (for local news), and from time to time CNN daytime.
