Pipeline is awesome!! I bought the subscription today and it is well worth it. Light years better than MSNBC or even CNN's free video on their website. The live feeds and the quality are fantastic, at times I forgot I was watching it on my computer. If you used it only to access CNN's video archive, it is well worth it's weight in gold.

Has the moronic author of the article even TRIED CNN Pipeline? I'd pay $100 per year for their service...today was the first day of it and I was absolutely amazed with the quality.

Pipeline is actually 4 tv channels in one browser. They have 4 pipes that broadcast live news events on one feed, a headline news type broadcast on the other feed, a weather feed, and a international feed. Also it has video clips on demand. Unlike any other news web page today.

Pipeline offers a feed of CNNI from 8pm - 8am EST. Now, you won't see that on MSNBC.com's video section.
