Imus’ radio show on WFAN (660 AM) is as good as ever and he insists he likes being in a bright studio, instead of a dark Queens basement.
But this flash-and-glitter set feels like it breeds precisely the kind of TV fluff that Imus goofs on. More to the point, a radio show should come from a mysterious dark room, like Wolfman Jack in “American Graffiti.”
