Maybe I just missed it all this time but FNC’s Dr. Manny Alvarez has a blog called “Ask Dr. Manny”…

“Sleep Cures Baldness!”NO, NO, NO! These are NOT real news headlines. But they are how some headlines and what’s behind them can be perceived: as a magic bullet. So the question begs to be asked: Can all medical research be trusted? OF COURSE NOT!
Dr. Manny? Whoa there, FNC! Who is this schmoe, anyway? And, more importantly, how did HE get the job as the resident M.D. on call? C’mon FNC…you had better stick with what got you to the top. Dump that dumpy doc and bring in an M.D./P.H.D./D.D.S. that’s babe-o-licious and do it PDQ. We’ve all watched enough to know that when you people put your minds to it you can find the “hottest” experts out there. FNC has mastered the art of making “news watching” fun so don’t sabatoge that effort. Tell Manny Alvarez to…”Exit, stage left!”.

Who is this guy Richard C. and what is his problem? I first caught Dr. Manny when he was reporting live from New Orleans, during the Hurricane Katrina disaster. I have stayed tuned ever since. Dr. Manny reports with integrity and a style that informs without talking down to his audience. If he wants to watch ot babes, he can always chose pay per view, without the news.
