Bloviate with Bill starts tonight…

Michael Starr in the NY Post says the first two winners in FNC’s Bloviate with Bill contest will appear tonight and tomorrow..

UPDATE: FTVLive has more info on what will be debated…

The first contestant will appear on “The Factor” tonight debating O’Reilly on the torture of terrorists and alleged violations of the Geneva Convention by the United States military.

The second contestant will appear tomorrow night and will challenge O’Reilly on media ethics behind the Judge Cashman story in Vermont. The next two finalists will appear next week and the final two winners will appear the week

I’m dissapointed. I was hoping it would at least be something close to a fair fight. But given the topics chosen for the first two, O’Reilly is going to wipe the floor with his guests…

  2. Should be called BlowSviate beacuse the emphasis will be on a battle of B.S. from both sides of the table.

  3. Correct me if I’m wrong but was Bloviaters that had dibs on what topic they wanted to talk about not BOR so I don’t get what this fair fight thing is all about.

  4. The reason the fight will not be fair is that Bill will use every trick in the book to make anyone stupid enough to debate him on HIS terms look like a fool. And if all else fails, he’ll deliver his coup de grace that ends all arguments: “Just SHUT UP!”

  6. I began to read the comments in post #4, and the instant I saw that they were turning bitter, I thought “tanne” (said in the tone of NEWMAN!) I’m psychic!

  7. I just watched the segment. Bill was very polite, and mild in manner. There was just no fire there.
I wanted to see them mix it up!!

  8. Hey spud!! Did you actually think Bill O would let anyone, ANYONE say what they want?!?

  9. Anon, did you see the “debate”? O’Reilly was very civil and they ended on very good terms. Too bad you jumped to conclusions.

  10. Lurker, the guests chose the topics but O’Reilly’s team chose the guests. I was pleased that O’Reilly was civil with the guests but I’m still dissapointed that the topics chosen so far were so predictable.
