The Case of the Dissapearing Olbermann Quote…
Johnny Dollar emailed in the following…
TVNewser put up a snarky email from Keith Olbermann about how Fox is not a real news organization, etc. Within a half hour it disappeared. Why did he take it down? (Rhetorical question!) Did you happen to catch it? I’d like to get the exact wording.
Alas, I never saw the now you see it, now you don’t Olbermann quote on TVNewser’s site so I don’t know what it was. But I am curious as to why it went up and then suddenly came down again…

I saw that quote! I only remember the last part “Fox should be happy its still considered a news org. Keith Olbermann, said.”

BTW, that was paraphrased not sure of the exact wording.

Yep, KO said it like it is. FNC better be glad it’s still considered a news organization. Really I consider an entertainment, talk radio on tv channel and a reality channel. Want news? Don’t go there!

Does anyone else have serious wonderings about Keith Olbermann? I seriously think he should take some meds so he can stop obsessing about Fox and concentrate on his own program.

Like Spud, I’m wondering why TVNewser took down the comment. Who or what influenced his decision?

Me too…I wonder why on earth the quote would be taken down. After all, Olbermann is doing nothing other than telling the plain truth about Fox.
I have “serious wonderings,” all right, Mia…about the reasons why anyone would ever be so obsessed about Keith Olbermann as to think he was too “obsessed about Fox” to concentrate on his own program! Looks to me as if he’s perfectly capable of doing both at the same time, given that the two are not by definition mutually exclusive behaviors!

I am in the same camp with Mia.
This guy is such a craver of publicity that he will do whatever it takes to keep his name in the headlines, even if it means a further loss of credibility for him or his network.

FNC is not a new organization. What a statement! I find people saying this kind of stuff only watch clips of FNC from somewhere instead of actually watching FNC programs entirely. I watch CNN and FNC, not so much MSNBC as they seem to play those “Headliners” program most of the time on weekends while they’re playing Olympics this couple weeks. If I want news, I go to CNN, Headline News, or FNC, not MSNBC.
