Of course, CNN has thrown more promotion behind Anderson Cooper, who seems to be the network’s designated poster boy. CNN’s Wolf Blitzer has the nicer digs, as he constantly reminds us when we’re in “The Situation Room.”
Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly draws bigger audiences, and the broadcast anchors do far better in that respect. But Dobbs is forcing viewers and policymakers to pay attention to issues, from immigration to the much-disputed port deal.
Of the latter, Blitzer said last week, “Lou has been on top of this story long before most of the mainstream media.”
