CNN hires KMOV’s Wolf…

CNN announced this morning that Meteorologist Reynolds Wolf has joined CNN’s Weather team…

Reynolds Wolf, a veteran weathercaster and meteorologist with experience across the United States, will join CNN’s weather team, it was announced today by Susan Bunda, senior vice president of news of CNN/U.S. Wolf’s new assignment with the cable news network will begin Monday, March 6.

“In terms of weather, Reynolds has seen it all: Hurricanes in Florida, blizzards in Michigan, windstorms in the heartland and thunderstorms in the Deep South,” Bunda said. “We’re pleased that he can join our expert weather team and report on all of those weather conditions on one network.”

“Providing local weather reports for stations across the country offers considerable enjoyment and challenges for any weathercaster,” Wolf said. “But covering weather all over the United States for a nationwide audience takes such opportunities to an entirely different level. I’m thrilled to be joining CNN’s weather team.”

  1. Wow CNN hires a certified met. Just think if Roger Ailes was running CNN he would have put a clueless piece of eye candy to do the weather.

  2. I don’t know why FNC insists on putting Janice Dean on……But, i’d hardly call her eye candy.

  3. Reynolds Wolf was crap in St. Louis and will fit right in with the crap at CNN. And don’t knock Janice Dean. The gal does have a following….super babe or not. I’d much rather get the correct weather from her instead of the wrong weather from “The Wolfman”.

  4. Is Reynolds Wolf replacing someone on CNN or just an addition?

Now to to turn on CNN this morning and see Reynolds on CNN was a joy. We have all loved Reynolds for his weather but more is stage present. CNN is lucky to have him. Would like to write to Reynolds Wolf and say hi from Detroit, CA.. Can you let us know where to write him. Great, great meteorologist and always seems like a pro on TV. Gary
