Just two days before the Oscars, CNBC’s “Power Lunch” will broadcast live from The Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles for a special “Business of Hollywood” program airing Friday, March 3rd from 12pm - 2pm ET. “Power Lunch” co-anchor Bill Griffeth will be in Los Angeles and co-anchor Sue Herera will be at CNBC Global Headquarters here.

The program will delve into the big business of Hollywood exploring everything from movies that take on social issues and stigmas to what theater owners are doing to lure movie-lovers away from DVD releases and into the theaters. Scheduled guests include Michael Eisner, host of CNBC’s “Conversations with Michael D. Eisner” and former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Walt Disney Co. and American film director Richard Donner.

Bruce Feirstein, columnist for The New York Observer and a Hollywood screenwriter, is scheduled to give a preview of the big movies to be released in the next few months, including “The Da Vinci Code” and Gil Cates, Executive Producer of the Oscars telecast, is scheduled to give Griffeth a tour of the Oscars set behind the scenes.
