Brian Wilson Profile…

The Alabama Mobile Register’s Renee Busby has a profile of FNC’s Brian Wilson…

Good sources also helped him get a scoop on Sept. 11, 2001, after terrorists crashed a plane into the Pentagon.

He was sitting in his office on Capitol Hill when a mandatory evacuation was ordered after the Pentagon was hit.

Standing on the lawn in front of the Capitol, Wilson was reporting the events live on Fox. As soon as he finished his report, a police officer approached Wilson and told him he had to leave the area.

“He said, ‘Brian, there’s another plane coming and we know it’s about 20 minutes away. You’ve got to get your camera out of here and you have to leave,’” recalled Wilson, who frantically tried to phone editors in the Fox New York office.

“It was chaos in New York and impossible to get anyone on the phone,” he said. “They hung up on me three times.”

When he finally got through with the news about a third plane, Wilson said they put him on the air live. They later learned that the plane headed for Washington had crashed into a field in Pennsylvania after passengers tried to take control of the plane from the terrorists.

  1. I hear there’s a 757 loaded with jet fuel and piloted by Keith Olberman flying pretty darn low and directly at “The O’Rielly Factor”. Come to think of it tho….Kieth has been flying a “bomb” for quite a while now. hehe
