Hill, O’Brien under consideration for The View…
Don Kaplan in the New York Post writes about The View’s Merideth Viera possibly going to The Today Show. But the interesting news in the piece from my perspective is that E.D. Hill and Soledad O’Brien are rumored to be under consideration to replace Viera on the show if she leaves…
Fox News Channel’s E.D. Hill and CNN’s Soledad O’Brien are said to be among the top contenders for the “View” job.
I don’t know about O’Brian, but I couldn’t see E.D. leaving FOX & Friends.

It think both ladys will leave their job for the view, but E.D. will do the best because F&F is something like the view.

What a loss to Fox and Friends if E.D. should leave.
I have watched them bring in substitutes when she is away.
They are all quivering, arm-waving, “on camera” nuts! (Like the Saturday edition - which is unwatchable!)
I like E.D.’s calm affect.
As for Soledad - zzzzzz.

Personally I don’t think either rumor is legit. I can’t see FNC letting E.D. go and I can’t see CNN letting O’Brien go. But I’ll run them up the flagpole all the same…

I agree that the “top contenders” are more of a wish list; I know it’s a job from cable to broadcast, but it hardly seems like a promotion for either one who both seem to be “queen bees” in their respective roles.

E.D. will be a great replacement on the view, but F&F don’t have no one to replace her on the show. Kiran want be great but she is not working not.

Edie is on the conservative side. Can you see her fighting with the liberal “View” ladies? I think she’d be foolish to leave F&F.

Having seen E.D. for years I think she could more than handle the two loud mouth liberals on the show. But I don’t think there is anyway that ABC or Walters would hire E.D.
