7-8pm: Hardball with Chris Matthews (live)
8-8:20p: Presidential Address
8:20-9pm: Countdown with Keith Olbermann (live)
9-10pm: Scarborough Country (live)
10-11pm: Rita Cosby Live and Direct (live)
11-12m: The Situation with Tucker Carlson (live)
12m-1am: Countdown (replay of 8pm hour including address)

The 12am Countdown will re-air as scheduled on Tuesday at 9am.

FNC Bush address coverage plans…

Here are FNC’s coverage plans for President Bush’s address to the nation…

Brit Hume will lead Fox News Channel’s (FNC) live coverage of President Bush’s address from the Oval office in the White House beginning Monday at 8:00 PM/ET. Programming will include post-speech analysis provided by Hume and his panel.

FNC special programming will include:

8:00-8:30 PM - Presidential address and post-address analysis anchored by Brit Hume
8:30-9 PM - The O’Reilly Factor live
9-10 PM - Hannity & Colmes live
10-11 PM - On the Record with Greta Van Susteren live

FNC’s Shepard Smith will anchor the FOX Broadcasting Network’s coverage beginning at 8PM/ET.

CNN Bush address coverage plans…

CNN plans to air special editions of both The Situation Room and Lou Dobbs Tonight as part of its coverage of President George W. Bush’s address to the nation on Monday, May 15. The speech will be on U.S. immigration policy.

Wolf Blitzer and Lou Dobbs will anchor The Situation Room from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. ET from Washington Washington, D.C. Lou Dobbs Tonight will follow the speech from about 8:30 p.m. to 9 p.m ET.

FNC’s Shawn on The Daily Show…

FNC’s Eric Shawn was on The Daily Show earlier this week (a video clip may be found here) to talk about his new book “The U.N. Exposed”. Here is an excerpt from the show…

Stewart: How do you reform something where 100 and some competing countries, where Senegal and Tanzania, are trying to get a piece of the pie? And then you got your Security Council, the people with the pie. May I continue with the pie analogy?

Shawn: You absolutely may.

Stewart: And then you have Europe which is a participatory, if you will. I don’t even know what I am talking about. My point is this, is it just unwielding. Once they open the doors to everyone who has a jersey, isn’t that what made it unwielding?

Cosby to receive award…

The New York Post’s Michael Starr writes about Rita Cosby receiving an award…

MSNBC’s Rita Cosby and Tom Ridge receive The Ellis Island Medal of Honor to morrow night on Ellis Island in a ceremony co-hosted by Ch. 11’s Marvin Scott. The award is presented by the National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations. Rita, by the way, is a first-generation American - her father, Richard Kossobudzki, was a Polish POW and her mother is Danish.
