  2. OH PLEASE! How can you, FNC or anybody claim a victory over The Weather Channel when wall to wall coverage of the event WAS NOT even on the air on FNC VERSUS continuing coverage from The Weather Channel? This is just the usual spin by FNC.

  3. FOX News’ ratings are only slightly higher and this is not from coverage of the storms. The only network that has had developing coverage of the storms is MS>NBC. CNN had moderate coverage but was more in tune with Iraq and the war on terror. FNC has based much of it’s coverage lately on how the Democrats are awful for caring more about the war than passing a flag burning ban.

  4. Fox News covered the big weather news big time this week. It seemed non-stop. And if the Weather Channel only got 6,000 additional viewers during big weather news that stretched out over a few days and caused several deaths and left countelss others in shelters, that’s pathetic.

I work in the news and for the record, I couldn’t find a live weather report on the Weather Channel Sunday night when the flooding began because they were in taped programming!!!

  5. Still kinda sick FNC PR is attempting to tout that their numbers rose because of the storms. Unless FNC did wall-to-wall coverage, like during a hurricane, it’s like comparing apples to oranges and the numbers make no sense.
