  1. I want more coverage of Iraq…….and what is going on in Washington!

  2. The newsies covered the shooting war in the ME report that they feel safer doing that than covering the ‘counterinsurgency’ in Iraq. How weird is that?

And I agree, Iraq is apparently going up in flames and could use a bit more attention.

  3. How about coverage of the rest of the news? Yeesh. Enough is enough.

  4. The car chase yesterday was refreshing. Heh.

  5. Lots of things going on in Washington that are just put on the back burner of the news.
I wish they would take time to cover that type of news, too. It is important to the American people………

  6. I would like more coverage on the Israeli side of things. FOX + Shepard Smith have seemed to provide a more balanced coverage. I would like to see stories about how every Israeli citizen must be in the army for 2yrs. and how united and patriotic they are, and it does not matter if it is who or how many soldiers are kidnapped.

  7. They are covering what’s giving them great visuals and the best stand-up, on-location opportunities for their ‘top talent’. What will they do if a hurricane hits the US?

What gets a back seat? Iran nukes. North Korean missile tests. UN impotency. Russia talking out of both sides of its mouth. The biggest story that’s not being covered here at home (besides the continued flood of illegal aliens)? Venezuela, and its oil wealth, joins the Mercosur trade group, offering socialist, anti-US trade incentives in South America to anyone who will stand against the US and free-market economies. Chavez and Castro celebrate together by promising “profound changes” to the region.

There’s no strategic, world-wide perspective to news coverage–even though everyone acknowledges the news is global and 24/7.

  8. I agree with Kyle. I heard a long while back that all men are in the reserves and have to do three months every other year until they’re 65. Anyone know if that’s true or where to find that kind of info?
