Gibson goes after MSNBC…
Johnny Dollar has the audio of John Gibson from his radio show talking about Joe Scarborough’s drinking stunt last night and then some. It’s pretty brutal. Oh…and in his spare time he takes on Olbermann as well…

Lurker, you got it wrong. Olbermann owns Gibson AND O’Reilly. I saw him own them last night! It was great!

tanne and Nobody actually think this childish schtick of their hero’s is STILL funny! You two are simply Pavlovian. Keith attacks; you guys think it’s hysterical. Doesn’t the law of diminishing returns ever kick in? Is the same tactic still absolutely hilarious after over 100 times?
Comment by Missy — August 4, 2006 @ 12:22 pm
No, it goes like this - times 1-5, funny. Times 6-100, unfunny. Then it becomes funny again forever.
Like the dead parrot joke.

Just a question here. How childish is this? Better yet how professional is this? Just goes to show what they choose to fill their airwaves with…CRAP.

Thanks for the hypocrisy. There is not a single cable news figure who spends more time attacking competitors instead of covering or analyzing news than Keith Olbermann. That is a provable fact, and you know it.

Olbermann finished 4th in total audience last night, and was more than doubled by Paula Zahn in Brian Stelter’s “demo.” It’s gotten to the point where the show is so irrelevant that it’s not even worth talking about. Gibson shouldn’t be wasting his breath.
Comment by Jack — August 4, 2006 @ 5:32 pm
Yeah, the show is so irrelevant, Jack watches it every night just to complain about it!
Olbermann owning his stupid, clueless competition…never gets old!
Comment by tanne — August 4, 2006 @ 7:29 pm
Tanne,
I stopped watching Olbermann after he saluted Nazis on stage.

We need to check if Gibson’s radio show, which is primarily on satellite radio, beats Countdown on MSNBC.
Everybody else does!
Comment by Ira — August 5, 2006 @ 7:47 pm
Jack, don’t parade your false piety in front of everyone. YOU know what Olbermann was doing and that it wasn’t meant to be Nazi support. You just don’t want to admit it.
Ira, it doesn’t matter what Countdown’s ratings are. Those of us who like it will continue to watch it and there’s not a damn thing its haters can do about it! LOL!

Gibby is great and demolishes Keith OLDERman. I just wish John would return to the “Conway Twitty” hairdo and dump the Bart Simpson look. Of course anything is better than Keiths’ “Bob Dole” look.
