  1. And it only took EIGHT DAYS from the time of the kidnapping to issue this request for their IMMEDIATE release. Let’s hope the kidnappers react faster than Amnesty International!

  2. Well, FOX has attacked that organization relentlessly. So it’s not surprising that they would take their time wording a statement.

  3. It shouldn’t take more than a split second to decide to condemn the kidnapping of Centanni and Wiig. Strip away all the labels of reporter, cameraman, Fox News, and American / New Zealander and what you have are human beings that are missing. Any issue besides their safe return is secondary, IMO. I hope that Amnesty International’s statement, albeit late, does have a positive impact on the kidnappers, though I fear it will not.

  4. You’re right, Nobody, that it isn’t surprising for AI to take their time putting out a statement condemning the kidnapping of Centanni and Wiig. But you’ll never see FNC hesitating to denounce an abduction of someone who has bashed FNC. Of these two organizations, it is pretty obvious who takes the moral highground.
