Southern Views Magazine has a big profile of FNC’s Dagen McDowell…
How has your life changed since you joined Fox News, and now that you appear regularly on Your World with Neil Cavuto and Cashin’ In? Obviously your visibility has increased dramatically.
Well I can no longer work in jeans with my hair pulled back in a ponytail. And how can I say this? There’s a lot of physical maintanence that’s required. Frequent grooming. Outside of work, no one recognizes me without my makeup on. Some say I look a lot younger, which I assume is a compliment.
On a serious note, the job also comes with a great deal of responsibility. You’re delivering information to people that can affect their jobs, their livelihoods, their retirements. I remind myself of that ever day.

Didn’t know that Dagen is married to Jona Max Ferris, a fellow panelist on “Cashin’ In.”

Also, I remember reading that Brenda Buttner is married to Tom Atkins (the real estate commentator with the long curly hair).

Can’t go wrong with a Southern lass. She speaks my kind of language. Plus, she is pretty and knows her subject well. Am glad she still misses and loves the South.

I didn’t know Dagen and Jonas are married either! I really like her, she makes business news very understandable for me.

I love that these guys are married (Dagen and Jonas) and (Brenda and Tom). Who Knew? I wonder who else is married?
On a side note, does anyone know when the FOX Business channel is going to start to air? Thanks!

Noelle: Also note that John “Bradshaw” Leyfield is dating Meredith Whitney. Both occasionally appear on the various Cost of Freedom shows.
Last we heard, Fox Business Channel is preparing for launch sometime in 2007.

I knew Meredith married a professional wrestler but I had no idea it was Bradshaw. This just gets better and better.

I forgot about Bradshaw and Meredith Whitney. According to answers.com, they were married in February, 2005.

..what qualifies someone with an Art/History degree to tell people what’s going on in business? And you can’t be too bright to have dated “Rush” unless you’re a celebrity stalker. Also check out Ali Velshei at CNN….also no background or degree in business. read the WSJ and figure it out yourself!
