She is one tough lady - married with 8(!) kids. She brought a simple common sense to the show. As to Gretchen, I've seen a fair amount of her in various settings and there is no way she fits in. She is too fragile. Too politically correct and lacking in that raucous slightly ribald humor that makes that show a delight. I am sorry to hear this. E.D. and Steve and Brian had great chemistry and could always make me laugh.

Brian was the mischievous child, Steve the professor, and E.D. was middle America - the glue.
She is one tough lady - married with 8(!) kids. She brought a simple common sense to the show.
