Senator criticizes CNN coverage of floor speech…
U.S. Senator James Inhofe criticized CNN over coverage of a Senate floor speech he gave on Global Warming…
This morning, CNN ran a segment criticizing my speech on global warming and attempted to refute the scientific evidence I presented to counter climate fears.
First off, CNN reporter Miles O’Brien inaccurately claimed I was “too busy” to appear on his program this week to discuss my 50 minute floor speech on global warming. But they were told I simply was not available on Tuesday or Wednesday.
I did appear on another CNN program today — Thursday — which I hope everyone will watch. The segment airs tonight on CNN’s Headline News at 7pm and repeats at 9pm and midnight Eastern.
Second, CNN’s O’Brien falsely claimed that I was all “alone on Capitol Hill” when it comes to questioning global warming.

Ah…just like I thought he’s a repub. YAWN.

When you believe the earth is flat, you take comfort in company.

You all just ignore any scientific fact that does not support your biased beliefs. You don’t want to hear the truth. It just has to be true that we evil humans are destroying the earth!! There are many educated people who do not buy into the scare tactics used by the radical environmentalists who put out this misinformation. Look honestly into this and you will see the truth.

There are many educated people who do not believe the scare tactics put out by the radical environmentalists. You should look for yourselves at the true scientific facts and then you would see the misinformation that for years has been published as truth.

What both sides forget to mention is the population explosion, and what it has to do with global warming/climate change. For most of us reading/writing here, the world’s human population has doubled in our lifetime; for others, tripled or quadrupled. Plants need us for CO2 and we need plants for O2. Every extra human born does more harm, regarding climate change or GW or the ozone layer, than 1000 trees cut down, or one million barrels of oil burned. Of course that doesn’t fit into the political script for either side of the issue, so we just keep throwing insults and blame back and forth. Arthur has it right: Pot… Kettle. Kettle… Pot.
