Wow…so far, a bit of a letdown. The set is pretty “blah” IMO. Nice, but nothing interesting/exciting. Same old, same old. :(

Ditto. New setting, same old, old.

Is it just me, or does Paula look a bit like Rita Cosby in that first shot?
I agree, decidedly unimpressive.

No. She looks classic Paula.

I agree with the above comments. The potential was there - I don’t really see anything THAT impressive.
I think it will become quite dated before too long.

Looks amazing, kinda international-istic. Nice, roomy, and clean looking, compared to some of the other sets out there

It makes Paula look good. Her red outfit may be the key.
Seriously, what she had before was awful. AC as well. Any screen grabs from last week? It would be nice to put last week/this week side by side.

Now you can watch Paula watch TV!

Charles - LOL at your comment just above.
Chris - Your comment is interesting. CNN International are getting new sets and your comment about it looking international-istic made me wonder whether this is perhaps something CNN International may be introducing. The press release from them a while ago stated that the new sets for CNNI will be more engaging and will have multiple presentation points.

Sky News has been using “Video walls” for several years. I don’t know why CNN continues to declare how “revolutionary” this technology is in broadcast journalism.
