HLN announced today Monday through Thursday of next week Glenn Beck will be looking at Porn’s affect on America in a series of reports to air on his HLN program…
Headline News’ Glenn Beck, the nightly topical talk show featuring radio personality Glenn Beck, will examine the impact of pornography on American culture in a four-day series. “Porn: America’s Addiction” will air each from Monday, Oct. 16, through Thursday, Oct. 19, on the Headline Prime program at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. (ET).
For the first segment, “Addiction,” Glenn Beck profiles a couple who faced the husband’s addiction to online porn – and eventually survived it. Dr. Rob Weiss, director of the Sexual Recovery Institute, will offer his insights into the issue. Other segments include: “The Business,” which features Paul Fishbein, president of Adult Video News and examines the profitability and proliferation of the porn industry, and “The Future,” which delves into how new technologies drive the popularity and accessibility of pornography.
For the final segment, “The Dangers,” the program profiles a woman who was once in the porn industry and now counsels others as they try to escape the lifestyle. The segment also examines how the rampant availability of pornography has blurred sexual issues for teenagers, particularly with the popularity of such sexually oriented materials in today’s marketplace.
Someone is looking to grab some ratings. When they start doing stories on porn without a tie to a current news story you know they are just trying to get eyeballs.

Wow. The same people who call just the mentioning of Keith Olbermann’s mistreatment of women and dead Yankee pitchers “abusive” and “bullies” now resort to cracking jokes about failings of conservatives. I don’t give a rip if somebosy has had problems in their past, so long as they admit to them and try to learn from them. KO, however, refuses comment, attacks the accuser(s), and claims all of the stuff coming out is a “right wing attempt” to silence him.

Glenn Beck has no history of abusing women or children eddiebear. Not porn either. And Glenn Beck is a decent human being. No comparison to Olbermann AT ALL. Beck has had problems with addiction, but not addiction to porn. But, if you ever care to listen to him, you will realize that he has unique insight into addiction because of his own unique experiences.
Eddiebear has turned into one of the smear merchants he claims to detest. If you don’t have any knowledge of a subject eddiebear, it might be wise to keep your mouth shut. Please don’t create urban legends about good decent people. Your views are a lot closer to Glenn Beck’s than you think. But I doubt he would kick someone when they were down.

Free “I Hate Glenn Beck” animation on my blog….Glenn Beck is mental porn, he should be taken off the airwaves and force fed reality by getting a real job, like driving a taxi or joining the military, serve his country and fight in a war he thinks is important. The rest of us know these wars are bull… He’s entertaining if you like clowns. I hate clowns personally! But as a journalist he’s not.
