Martha MacCallum’s doing very well! She actually beat the ratings for F & F!
But can someone explain the numbers for the shows shown on HN that repeat during prime time? For example, the number of 261 for Glenn Beck’s program. Is that an average of the two times that he’s shown (7 p.m. and 9 p.m. ET)? If so, shouldn’t we record that he actually has twice as many viewers (i.e., 261,000 x 2 viewings = 522,000 total viewers for prime time)?

I don’t think MacCallum’s doing as well as you think. I couldn’t find a september program ranker but according to the Q3 ranker Dayside (which MaCallum replaced) was at 951 and 299, ahead of F&F which was at 919 and 379. In fact Dayside was slightly ahead of Fox Online while MacCallum is slightly behind.
What’s interesting is that all the minshows that Fox has put on (Dayside, Fox Online, Live Desk) have actually done worse than regular old Fox News Live.

My only question about FNC is what exactly was the point of tearing apart a perfectly good block of primary news programming? Then again, Ailes did make a remark about not letting the staff get complacent at the top and the changes were probably to keep everyone on their toes and keep the network looking news.
Still, why not just run FNL from 6:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

Missy, in answer to your question: Imagine if O’Reilly didn’t rerun at 11pm for those of us on the left coast. I’d venture to guess that his 8pm #s would go up; but not up as much as his 8pm and 11pm #s added together. Same should go for Beck. I’m sure HLN notices his #s in both times.
