2006 Midterms: More FNC coverage news 2…
The Hollywood Reporter’s Paul J. Gough writes about FNC’s Midterm election night coverage…
Hume will anchor “Special Report” at 6 p.m. Tuesday from New York, with analysis from “the Beltway Boys” Fred Barnes and Morton Kondracke, Juan Williams, Bill Kristol and Michael Barone. “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace will examine exit polls.
Chief political correspondent Carl Cameron will cover the Senate races with Major Garrett reporting on the House and Megyn Kendall on key gubernatorial races, all from Washington.
Barone, a columnist for U.S. News & World Report and an expert on the congressional races, will be part of the Decision Desk to analyze the 435 races, said Marty Ryan, Fox News executive producer of political programming. Ryan said Barone’s expertise “will give viewers a good inside knowledge.”

I hope that what I read about FNC’s continuous coverage ending at midnight is a mistake, considering that CNN’s going until 2:00 a.m. and MSNBC until 6:00 a.m.

I doubt if they want to report big losses.

Give me a break. Brit Hume is the most fair and balanced guy on TV these days. I read somewhere Fox will be on until 6 am. No doubt you will be watching ladyone.

Brit Hume is ok but Hannity and O’Reilly are hard to take.

What do Hannity & O’Reilly have to do with the election night coverage? I don’t see their names in the press release. Unlike some channels, FNC does not have its opinionated talk show hosts pretending to be “anchors” for election night coverage.

Exactly the point, Johnny Dollar. Unlike CNN who have decided to take their “very opinionated” Lou Dobbs to lead the charge on election night, FNC got it right with Brit Hume.

I hope they have Shep hosting prime-time for FOX broadcast stations like last time.
I wouldn’t say Brit Hume is the MOST fair and balanced guy on TV these days Jake, but he goes from anchor and moderator (weekdays) to pundit (Sundays) better than anyone else I know of.

Fox broadcast doesn’t appear to be doing anything; they just have their regular schedule that night.

FOX is where the action will be on election night. What are you talking about SuperNoxic? This is like their mini-superbowl! All the cable networks will be trying to emulate Fox on their election coverage from years past.

Brigitte Quinn take other the coverage at 2:00 am on FNC.
