  1. Well i say the same thing for fnc drawing an average 1.5 million a night…sounds like peons to me.

  2. Nothing to see, Move along. Liberals just wanted to feel better about the Kerry fiasco and they knew Dobermann would ease their pain. lol

When elections are over Dobermann will be back at around 500,000.

  3. I’m not an Olberman fan (almost never agree with him) but give the man his due. He had a pretty good night last night.

  4. peons? Did you mean peanuts? 855,000 is possibly Countdown’s best night ever; I’m guessing due to John Kerry.
And 1.5 million x 24 hours = 36 million hours of news watched per day, Stud; way more than the networks.
And I know it’s not 1.5 million every hour, but if it were only 750,000, that would be 18 million hours of news watched per day. And that tops Brian Williams’ 8 or 9 million viewers in his half-hour per day. More people get their news from the news nets than you think.

  5. Nah, I won’t give him his due because it’s not sustainable. Liberals felt real crappy yesterday because of Kerry and who to make them somewhat feel better then to tune into Dobermann and watch the spin he puts on. After elections he will be around 500,000. He can Bush bash all he wants after that and no one will really care because elections are over. If Dems don’t win either House or Senate he may even be around 400,000. How demoralizing would that be? With no power and elections over do Libs want to watch more cable news lol?

  6. You may be right Lurker. I have another theory: Could it be that Countdown’s average #s go up 30,000-50,000 every time Air America looses another city?

  7. Whatever happened to Tanne? I was positive I’d see her comment on this thread.

  8. Tonight, to have the man who calls himself the modern incarnation of Murrow to now say he is the modern Thomas Beckett, and to insist Team Bush was behind the soap flakes is the signs of a man who is : a) doing what his viewers (the Kossacks) want to hear, or b) just plain insane. Either way, it’s the sign of a man who has some severe problems.
