  1. By Friday night, FNC is back on top, and everything is right again in the world of cable news. …………….

Greta is seeming to have some problems though with her ratings….I wonder why? Hmmm maybe that is why she did a shout out through her blog, for anyone to tell her about unsolved crimes in their areas. She’s trying to find that “new” HOT crime story, to create ratings. Oh why oh why can’t another affluent white female just go missing??? One that has at least ONE male suspect??

  2. Greta still beats Anderson Cooper every night even after CNN spent millions on Cooper promo. She has been the highest rated woman in cable news for over a decade. I just love the fact that some loser (juststatinmyopinion)makes fun of her. I wonder how his show is doing,oh right he doesn”t have one.

  3. Maybe Cooper is just hoping to obtain “through intermediaries” another terrorist tape.

I also noticed that Olby is back in his usual spot in both overall and the “demo” he and his sycophants always flack. And this was against a stiff like Kasich.

  4. “She has been the highest rated woman in cable news for over a decade.”

Yeah right. Point me towards Greta’s ratings for her former CNN show.

  5. Scott Peterson and Natalie Halloway were compelling stories that compelled Greta to do well. All the stories now seem short and boring compared to Greta’s heyday. Not only does a person have to be the right one for their time; the time has to be right for the person. Think back to certain people in our history books; if they they had been on the scene too early or too late, they may have been seen differently, history would certainly be different, and you and I would be different.
Greta has had some good crime scene specials on the weekends of late; I wish they’d put them on during the week. And now her rerun is two hours earlier for those of us on the left coast. The best of Greta may be yet to come.

  6. JPC, first off I am not male, but a FEMALE.

Second of all, this is a comment board, and the topic is the CABLE RATINGS, and NOT about ME. So see fit, to debate my stance on Greta and her failing ratings, and stop the personal attacks on me, Capice?

  7. Not also that Paula Zahn is indeed back, despite the Aaron Brown connection some people saw. And she’s beating Countdown again too - both #s. None of us (me included) seem to notice when Bill, Keith, and Paula’s #s go back to normal like this.

  8. At CNN Greta had the #2 show “Burden of Proof” behind LKL. Then she had “the Point” also #2. As to being personal read your flip camments on Greta, seem personal to me. I see you can dish it out but dont like when it comes back at you.

    Comment by jpc — November 14, 2006 @ 10:36 am

  9. Jpc, if Greta had gotten her “surgery” sooner she might of become CNN’s #1 show.

  10. nice comment Terance. I guess you will be posting a picture of yourself so we can see that you dont need “work”.

  11. JPC, Show me where I said anything against Greta personally? I don’t know her personally. Yet I can and WILL opine about her show, her ratings, and her choice of topics to air, on HER show.

Why don’t you just pass by my comments. It seems I hit a nerve. Sorry.

    Have a great day.

  12. Greta has viewers and if someone does not like her show then they do not have to watch it. It seems a million people a night sometimes a little more sometimes a little less tune in and watch her so whatever she is doing she seems to be doing something right.

  13. Wow! Less than 400-thousand viewers seperated FNC
and CNN in prime time,as well as Headline topping MSNBC.This week should be interesting.
