I agree that MSNBC is still in a distant third place, but they didn't just experience "a slight election season bump." MSNBC's numbers have been up since just before Abrams took over. Countdown itself has been way up recently, and it is pulling the rest of the schedule up with it. And having the other three male evening hosts each anchoring an hour of the daytime live news is a great idea. Was it in their contracts? I had noticed the daytime anchors disappearing one by one, but I had no idea they had this in mind.

KO is pathetic. What does he do? Measure how much he beats the competition every 15 minutes? Every 30 minutes?

I can just see the exchange:
KO - Dan, Dan! I ALMOST beat Fox in the first 15 minutes of the show.
DA - Keith, that's great. Keep up the good work. We are on a roll here. Let's stay consistent.
KO - I will, boss. I'll work hard to come in second every night, right behind Fox.

Wow! MSNBC and KO beat FNC for a whole three hours on Monday night?!?!? First of all, MSNBC plummeted after election night by 70%. You call that doing well? That is pathetic. What are you smoking Dan?

Anonymous, I couldn’t have said it better myself. KO is a clownshow. People come to watch the circus once, but they don’t go back to see the same show twice because it is so predictable.

How do explain the fact the numbers have been fairly consistent all fall?

The roll has come to a screeching halt. Already looking at the Tuesday #s, KO is back to #5 in the demo (and total viewers)...

I agree. The network experienced a slight election season bump, is still in a distant third place, and isn't going anywhere fast. Pat yourself on the back, Dan.
