Looks like the closest Olbermann and Grace may have ever been to O’Reilly in the demos. Of course O’Reilly thought the most important story of the day was Senator-elect Webb’s “rudeness” to Bush. I hope he spends some time on Danny DeVito next.

I, too, would have thought that Olbermann’s ratings were coming up, but it only seems that way b/c I’ve been on the crackpipe — or so I’ve been assured in the comments to this post:

Dobbs spanks Hume again….

No, Keith, you’re not on that “crackpipe”. And Chris Matthews’ illness has hurt the ratings of the lead-in to “Countdown”. But Grace’s top story today AND O’REILLY’S was the “missing family”, so I’m certain the margin will be wider tomorrow.

Two months ago, I believe Olbermann had never topped 700,000 in a normal news period; the last time had been right after Katrina. (if I’m wrong, someone correct me) I remember that thread Keith; it was the one where bigred had O’Reilly spanking Olbermann. Yuck! And now Terance is bringing up Dobbs spanking Hume! Not quite as yuck, but still yuck!

hey terance…spanking hume would mean him whipping him overall!!! beating him in one demo hardly is a whipping!!! ur a fox hater and ur still in second!
