Brit Hume taking Friday off is nothing new; he works Sundays, so he ALWAYS does. He has been on SR on a Friday ONCE in the past year - and that was for a special interview.
We now know what happened to Sean Hannity was last Friday. I bet H&C's ratings for Monday are through the roof.
As for Greta, her show has always been the weakest of FNC's primetime lineup. I think having her on earlier would hurt the rest of the schedule; just as Rita Cosby's show lost MSNBC it's political and hard news viewers when it was on before Scarborough and Carlson.

JustStatinMyOpinion - You're right about Greta... her show is much more fluffy than AC. I think it would probably do better earlier in the evening... like when other similar celebrity/investigative shows are on the networks. Maybe they could move Gibson to the late night spot, and really let him rant and go crazy... more like his radio show.

No question, subs hurt; Lou Dobbs within 5% of Special Report w/Jim Angle and actually ahead in the demo. Seeing that Angle was subbing is one reason I watched Dobbs last Friday.
