6, 7, 10…CNN beats FNC in the demos.
And KO almost beat BO in the demo…

John Kaisch was subbing for O’Reilly. ‘Nuff said.
BTW, these numbers seem to be coming faster. New source?

Glad to see Lou Dobbs spanking Hume and Shep in the Demo. Were they on vacation as well?
Comment by elmonica — December 15, 2006 @ 7:40 pm
Humm…..interesting. Well, CNN probably got advertising out again about Dobbs special, or at least for people to turn heads with their ads about his ratings being up 40%
Anyway, maybe a sign Shep should get away from making Duke the lead story night after night.

I don’t think the #s are coming faster…its just that TVN and all are too lazy to post them up for our viewing pleasure LOL

It’s amazing how two network’s top stories are so different!
When you watch the intro and beginning of the FOX Report, it’s starting with “Duke Rape Case”, but The Situation Room is starting with a “Death Row Hold” in Florida! Which one is more important?!?!?! Humm, one determines a case many forgot about ages ago, another talks about a whole group of Death Row Inmates and their possible future! Thank you CNN, for showing someone is showing REAL news, not tabloid garbage!!

So “Countdown” on MSNBC again beats every program on CNN except one (this time Dobbs’ “Town Hall” special), beats Hume, Smith AND Greta, virtually ties “The Factor” with Kasich, and the ONLY comment is that, well, O’Reilly was off (fighting the War on Christmas?). I don’t recall “Countdown” ever tying FOX in the prime time demo, with OR without O’Reilly. Where are all the comments from those who come out of the woodwork calling Olbermann names when he’s 3rd or even 4th on a specific night (like Fridays, when more 18-34’s are actually OUT of the house).

Even the “breaking news in the Natalee Holloway case” didn’t help Greta’s numbers last night….in demo or total viewership.
Guess that boycott IS working :)

Olbermann always has his highest ratings on Monday & Thursday nights.

“O’Reilly was off (fighting the War on Christmas?)”
I’m not a fan of Bill museglet, but he was actually in Iraq visiting the troops.
Comment by OverHere — December 17, 2006 @ 12:39 pm
Yeah, he was in Iraq, while Olbermann’s minions are left (again) with egg on their faces for their sophomoric comments. My guess is that he’ll be back to the six-to-one edge on Monday.
Must stink for a ‘good’ night to be one where you come close in one demo against a substitute on a slow news night. Sorta like playing the Heat without Wade or Shaq & bragging about only losing by three. Emphasis on “losing”, as that’s what losers genrally do.

Agreed. It’s quasi-scandal that the D.A. apparently is a weasel who toyed with a bunch of lives in order to get re-elected, but there’s no way that story has warranted the coverage that it’s gotten.
