FNC hires anchor? Almost…
NewsBlues is reporting that FNC has hired an anchor from the San Antonio market. The deal is not 100% done yet (which is why you haven’t seen an official announcement) but she’ll start in late January or early February as an overnight news anchor. That would be the late night shift from Midnight to 5 am ET…

I can’t believe they’re hiring another female anchor! They must have at least 50 already. And what happened to Carol I. and Donna F.?

Gone but not forgotten I guess. Iovanna’s bio has dissapeared from the FNC site..

Missy, FNC doesn’t usually say a WORD when they boot people.

Well neither does CNN or HLN. Just ask Sophia Choi…or Rudi Bakhtiar…

Not boot, but moved up the ladder.

Fox has to keep a fresh harem of leggy newsbabes. And we love it!!!

Sophia Choi and Rudi Bakhtiar were both “shuffled around” prior to getting the boot. Therefore, I don’t think they make very good “test” cases. How about Bill Hemmer & Daryn Kagan? Didn’t I read quotes from JK about them?

So who’s the fresh meat?

I am from San Antonio and watch Ainsley every morning. She is wonderful and I will miss her upbeat sense of humor. I am sad she is leaving.

I second JG’s comment; I’m a San Antonian, too.
