MSNBC to do new Congress all day special…

MSNBC started running an ad on TV, which I haven’t seen yet, that says that the network will be devoting all day Thursday, Jan 4th to the topic of politics and the first day of the new Congress. As with its 2006 pre-election coverage a number of high profile NBC talents will be anchoring the coverage. ICN has heard the following people will be anchoring this special coverage Thursday…

Norah O’Donnell
Chip Reid
David Gregory
Joe Scarborough
Andrea Mitchell
Matt Lauer
Brian Williams

Expect a formal release from MSNBC early next week…

  1. This figures. Another reason for me not to watch MSNBC.
Is Chris Matthews going to be reigning over it all in a robe and crown?
These left wingnuts, who worship at the liberal alter, have been salivating over a chance to wave their pom-poms and glorify the new Democrat majority.

  4. You have to be kidding me guies! NBC honestly has some of the best reports of any of the main three, not to mention the big 3 24-nets. At least MSNBC’s actually thinking, using talent from their fellow corporate cousin, the one that’s traditionally #1 of the big three (if I remember right)
