CNN up 30% in P25-54 in Total Day and up 17% in P25-54 in Prime, FNC is flat.

The Situation Room at 4p up 30% (Your World down -3%)

CNN has narrowed the P25-54 gap significantly with FNC, particularly with programs The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, Lou Dobbs Tonight and Anderson Cooper 360 in Q4.

On Election Night 2006 CNN had the most viewers on cable news, winning every hour from 3a-3a in the P25-54 demo
On November 8, CNN was the #1 most-watched news network in total day P2+ and P25-54

CNN unprecedented ‘Broken Government’ series averaged double digit gains in both P2+ and P25-54 versus prior year

Paula Zahn Now special report on Racism, ‘Skin Deep: Racism in America’ on Dec 12, posted gains of 31% in P2+ and up 69% in P25-54

CNN’s continuing coverage of the Execution of Saddam Hussein yielded double digit advantages over FNC in all young demos and a triple digit advantage over MSNBC. Nearly 3 million P2+ and 1.4 million P25-54 viewers tuned in for the 10-12m block.

HLN

HLN’s Glenn Beck is the fastest growing show on cable in Q4

At 7p up 119% in P2+ and up 165% in P25-54

At 9p up 11% in P2+ and up 30% in P25-54

Headline News since its revamp in 2004 has grown 59% in P2+ in prime time.

Every month for 2006, more viewers watched CNN than any other network on cable news. December 2006 was CNN’s best monthly cume since September 2005. Headline News beat FNC in the P25-54 demo for the month. This is the second time HLN has beaten FNC in monthly cume.
