Here comes Hannity’s America…

FNC put out a release on its new weekend program Hannity’s America, which premieres this Sunday January 7th at 9pm ET…

FOX News Channel will debut a new weekend program, Hannity’s America, on Sunday, January 7th at 9PM/ET. The premiere program (this Sunday) will have Hannity taking on Cindy Sheehan in the “Hot Seat” this weekend and will also interview The View’s Elisabeth Hasselbeck in light of the Rosie O’Donnell and Donald Trump feud.

Hosted by Sean Hannity, the one-hour regular weekend show will showcase a more personal side of the conservative commentator as he conducts an array of interviews and hits the streets to talk with average Americans.

The program will include regular segments, such as: “Hot Seat,” where Hannity will challenge someone with an opposing viewpoint and “Great American,” where he will feature someone who has done something remarkable for the country.

Hannity will also present a panel, consisting of a wide range of people, to debate the issues presently facing America.

  1. Wasn’t this show a special a few months ago? I think I remember Sean doing something like this that showed over a weekend a few months back.

It will be interesting to see this “Hot Seat” segment. I like Sean, I really like listening to his radio program, however, I find that on his Fox show he tends to not let the “opposition” talk. He interrupts a lot and it is annoying. I would love to see them get their point out and then Sean refute it instead of just talking over them. JMO

  3. jerzie girl,
Sounds like you want fair and balanced. Look elsewhere.

  4. hate to break it to you elmonica, I like FNC. Sean just has some quirks that annoy me. Anyway, there aren’t many other places to look because I certainly would not find Fair and Balanced at MSNBC or CNN. Hate to break it to you.

  5. jerziegirl, you’re right about Sean, but I just figure his tactics are payback for the many liberal voices we see elsewhere in the media.

I saw the pilot a few weeks ago and it was great. Especially since “you-know-who” won’t be anywhere in sight (hopefully).

  6. Let’s see…basically ALL of fnc’s people act the same. Always cutting people off, especially if what the guest is saying isn’t along the fnc talking points. This happens from sun up to sun down. the hosts all have a certain persona to keep alive, doesn’t matter if it’s on radio or their ‘talk radio on tv’ shows.

  7. I hate to break it to all of you but CNN is not biased, MSNBC may be slightly but CNN has continuously shown itself to be a trusted news source. It’s funny cause ICN readers seem right winged or at least a majority of it no wonder this blog is full of attacks on MSNBC and CNN for no reason. FOX is far more biased than any other American network. If you think otherwise your stupid or ignorant. Get real.

  8. CNN is biased. CNN international is off the chart biased! Notice the attack at the end of Beckham’s post. Nuff said there! Hannity is Conservative no doubt. But I think he is a very shallow Conservative. I can’t wait to see who he has in this hot seat and the softball questions “his” guests will get. He’s trying to push Alan out no doubt.

A question: O’Reilly is a “Traditionalist”. Hannity a “Conservative”. Alan and Greta are “Liberals”.

MSNBC: Tucker and Scarborough are Conservative. Olby and Matthews are liberal.

CNN:????Paula Zhan, Larry King, Anderson Cooper,Wolf Blitzer, all “Liberals”……Fair and Balanced?? Now who’s stupid and ignorant? Don’t get real Mr. Beckham, You’re head might explode.

  9. I find it amusing you had a go at me for a “personal attack” and yet your post is just one big personal attack. Just go back to the safety of FOX and never listen to others points of views it is obviously too much for you.

  10. Liberals know it all. If you don’t agree with their pov you’re either ignorant or stupid. This is what basically happens on this blog. These left-wing nuts just can’t help themselves and bash, whine and cry about FNC on virtually every FNC post, then people like me that don’t really like to post alot will have to come out and defend them. Also when people come out and say they don’t like a specific host or show these left-wing nuts come out and accuse you right away as being an FNC tool. Ah, The mindset of these RATS.

  11. Back to the subject, when I saw the pilot a couple months back, I liked it. But when I heard it was going to be a regular show, the first thing I thought about was that it would be the furthest AWAY from the fair and balanced slogan that FNC has ever gone. And it plays to liberals that bash FNC for being conservative. Let me remind all of you FNC-haters of one simple fact: No one else has ever claimed to be fair and balanced. And the reason: it’s a lot harder to be fair. And it’s pretty easy to follow the New York Times’ talking points every morning.

    For Missy:
When reading all of your comments, I found it very funny that Mike Beckham(#7) and puck(#8) mix up “your” and “you’re.” Missy take note! You’re not the only one.

  12. erljr–great insight. I never thought of that perspective. I agree with you that it does give ammunition to those who scream about Fox’s leaning to the right. Good points.
