Monday’s Numbers…
MSNBC had a great New Year. Its “Crime Doesn’t Take a Holiday” doc block marathon made a killing in prime time, nearly doubling 2nd place CNN in the Demo. And MSNBC won the daytime demo as well. I guess crime does pay after all…

Just goes to show ya crime pays. Anyway where are the numbers for the new year’s eve programs?
Comment by Big Dave — January 3, 2007 @ 8:03 pm
Wow! Look at Greta’s numbers! Isn’t that about the lowest her total viewer-ship/demo has ever been??
To be beaten not only BY Anderson Cooper, but MSNBC investigates as well?? Tsk Tsk.

Seems more eyeballs were watching anderson cooper on CNN than fox news between 11pm and 1am new years eve.
CNN had 1,122.000 total viewers to FNC’s 1,024,000 total viewers. In the demos, CNN had 448,000 viewers in the 25-54. FNC had 365,000 in the 25-54 demo. und these numbers on the internet

Could it be that FNC people all had dates and CNN people did not and just stayed home with cooper? ; )
Comment by mike — January 3, 2007 @ 10:58 pm
If I’m going to stay home on New Year’s Eve, I’m going to watch Cooper–who’s show was very entertaining.

Or mike it could be fnc’s program wasn’t worth watching so they tuned into cnn instead…by gollie i think that’s it!

If I am not mistaken, Monday was not “new years eve”…but new years day…………..so these numbers reflect the evening of new years DAY, NOT New Years EVE…
New Years Eve would of been on Sunday evening….

Funny that in the 8PM EST, a tape doubled the best Olby performance.
I know. Some of the blue bloggers will scream something about THE DEMO, but that’s pretty close to what KO pulls in when he’s actually on the air.
