Alisyn Camerota delivers baby boy…

Saturday morning on ‘Fox & friends: Weekend’ they announced that Alisyn Camerota had her baby. She gave birth on Thursday to a 8lb. 8oz. baby boy. Alisyn spoke via phone from her hospital bed, saying that they are naming him Nathaniel Andrew and they will call him ‘Nate’.

She sounded great! Congratulations to Alisyn and her hubby!

Saw that this morning. Apparently, she has an 18-month old daughter. She really looked well and will be home Monday.
Hope she does not do a Linda Vester act.

She has 18-month-old twin daughters.

Actually, her fraternal twin daughters are 22 months old.

You’re right malone, I forgot they were born early in 2005, she was very pregnant when she hosted New Year’s Eve with Steve Doocy that year.

Ah, congrats!

RGL, where is Julian Phillips? Did he pull an act too?

Love the two men, one woman foremat. It works so much better.
Rick Reichmuth would be a wonderful addition. Greg Kelly is a winner, too.

Terance, the rumors floating about is that Julian Phlipps dd not get along well with the two partners on the show. I don’t want to lend credence to that beyond saying that Kelly Wright is an excellent replacement. He is articulate, well informed, and, if you have watched the program faithfully, a wonderful singer. Besides, he does not tend to dominate the talking, as Julian did.

Thanks RGL, I’ve watched F&F weekend since the first day. And while Kelly Wright is a competent replacement…it has more to do with him staying on FNC’s talking points. They very well can’t have a host saying the Miami terrorists are innocent…….now can they? So, is Julian sitting at home getting paid?
Comment by Terance — January 7, 2007 @ 11:22 am
I am so glad they got rid of Julian. He should of been replaced long ago. He always asked such dumb questions and the way he worded them, even the guest would say “I don’t understand what you are saying”. I have seen that on many occasions. He’s gone and I say “good riddance”.

I liked Julian, but he had one quirk that annoyed me. He’d often use the phrase “tempest in a teapot”, which means much ado about nothing, but he thought it meant the opposite: a big argument over an important issue. Otherwise I thought he was fine.

Terance, Julian is not currently on the roster of FNC employees, as is Linda Vester.
Fox and Friends is mainly about fun and entertainment, with occasional forays into serious issues like politics. Both conservative and liberal guests appear on the program, with no suggestion of any ideological bias.
Steve Doocy, apart from talking about the weather, wrote a book about marriage; Brian Kilmeade did one a year ago on
famous figures, particularly in the sports world. Judge Andrew Napolitano is there on week-ends occasionally to lend his knowledge of legal issues, and has argued against conservative viewpoints. So, let’s not mistake that program for those of Hannity and O’Reilly, which have a decidedly conservative bent (though Alan Colmes is there to defend the liberal ramparts while O’Reilly says he is independent.)

RGL, I’m not mistaking F&F for republican hack programs. But, right after Julian said the Miami terrorists were innocent….he vanished. So, instead of FNC claiming it was some imaginary “chemistry” problem…they could just tell the truth then I would be satisfied! Oh yeah, and you want to watch some painful chemistry? How about that Peter Johnson Jr who filled in recently? SHEESH!

Congratulations to Alisyn and family! What a darling picture!

Terance, I saw Peter Johnson and couldn’t believe he was on. But believe it or not, he has been on before. Yikes!

I liked Julian too Terance. I said at the time that they got rid of the wrong person. I think the reason it works so well on weekdays is the two-man/one-woman format. When they do the two-woman/one-man format it never quite works for me. I think Julian, Kelly, and either of the ladies would be great for the weekends; I know I would watch it more.
In any case, congrats to Alisyn; it’ll be a good long while before she can remember what a full night’s sleep is like.

Congratulations to Alisyn on the arrival of little Nate! He is so cute!
Just a comment or two on Julian Phillips-He certainly seemed to express a contrarian viewpoint when it came to Iraq and I think he had some left-of-center views on other things, but when compared to the mainstream news media liberal, he was pretty darn tolerable.
And just one thing about Kiran Chetry-Is she smoking cigarettes again? The last few weeks her voice has been kind of raspy and rough at times, something that I haven’t noticed in the couple of years since she says she quit “cold turkey”. I don’t know of too many smokers who ever quit smoking for good who did it this way. They always start up again. Hope that isn’t the case with her.
