Lauren Green leaves Fox and Friends…
Today was Lauren Green’s last day on Fox and Friends. Green’s new assignment will be as a Religion correspondent for the network. Johnny Dollar has the video of Green’s farewell announcement from this morning’s show.
ICN has learned that Alisyn Camerota will replace Lauren Green when she gets back from her maternity leave in the Spring.
I will miss seeing Lauren Green on F&F.

Lauren will definitely be missed, but I think Alisyn will do fine as her replacement. She has the enthusiasm that a morning show like F&F requires.

Seems to me like Kiran Chetry is getting passed over. I feel like she got passed over for E.D’s job when Gretchen got it and now she is getting passed over for Lauren’s job. Maybe she just doesnt want a Mon-Fri schedule??

It seems that ED Hill was told straight after her last appearance on F&F that she was being moved off the show. There wouldn’t have been the possibility of giving her an on-air send-off

Don’t know what #4’s problem is with Lauren Green. She is smart, attractive, classy, and has done a great job as the F/F news anchor all these years. I would have rather Laurie Dhue but don’t dislike Alyson Camerota.

LG’s main job at FNC was an update anchor for F&F. I know she filled in a couple days a week on the 6-7am F&F first, but i’d hardly call this a “promotion” for Alisyn Camerota.

Humm….this one is kind of sad. I really never card for Hill, though Green was always a favorite in the morning whenever I saw the show. Still, this almost makes me wonder, are we going to see F&F be completely replaced in hosts soon enough? Hill’s out to FNL, Green to correspondent, will Steve and Brian be next?

Chris, we had a poster here a few months back who seemed to be an insider with FNC. He stated that Brian and Steve’s jobs were secure on F & F, and that ED’s was not. Turns out he was right about ED, anyway.

lauren green… a very nice lady but she was not a natural in front of the camera….. her conversation was odd, she was awed by being on camera and she tossed back to the anchors like she was head of ceremonies at the circus.

Lauren Green was nice to look at but not one show went by when she didn’t flub her lines from the tele-prompter. My husband and I used to count the number of times she would make a mistake in her hourly newscasts. Hopefully, her replacement will be able to read the news without flubbing it constantly!

Get rid of Brian! Talk about flubbing lines. It’s so obvious he is reading his lines because he would not have a clue what the news is. If it wasn’t for his job he never would have sold a copy of his book. What a jerk. Lauren Green was about the only intelligent person on that show and made the news believable. Too bad they moved her along. It was obvious they were pushing her out over the past few weeks.

I will really miss Lauren. She was a beautiful lady, inside and out. I enjoy Allison, though. I think her personality blends in well with the others on the show.

Good Luck Lauren. One class act will now provide class reports. As for Kiran….she is the main stay of F&F’s. Alyson’s return will be good for Kiran. They bounce off each other really well. Greg Kelly has to go. Good reporter that needs to stay in Washington. Kelly Wright, nice guy. The third spot should be a rotating chair. As a guy, Page, Megan, Janice, Pattie Ann among others would keep my interest.
This is a fun and informative show. The news can be fun, fair & balanced.

Fox and Friends is in a tailspin and grasping for straws. Losing Lauren Green will only make things worse. Gretchen Carlson is the only bright spot they have left. E.D. was a big loss for them and losing Lauren just compounds. Like E.D.,
thats not really a promotion. They are learning a little bit, they didn’t just “disappear” her like they did E.D.

I was curious on what happened to LG. This is a promotion? mmmm I wouldn’t think so.
That said, I love Alison C. She and Kiren are so much fun together.
I also am a huge Brian K. fan ( steve drives me nuts ) you either get Brian or you don’t. He plays well off of both Kiren and Alison, so I say boot steve and grethen… why is she there? and bring on the girls.
They really goofed up by not giving Tike barber all of the money he wanted and found him a permanent place on FandF’s!

I was flipping through channels on my way to Fox and Friends this morning (16 Feb) and saw Kiran on CNN! She was sitting in for Soledad O’Brien on American Morning and said it was her first day there! I didn’t know she was leaving Fox!

I hope Kiran finds a better home where she’ll be more appreciated than at Fox. The so-called “Fair and Balanced” channel seems more interested in the T&A factor with their female broacasters anyway. With Kiran gone I have even less reason to watch Fox, they’re way too right-wing conservative for my liking. Let Sean Insanity and Bill O’Liely have it.

I was very saddened to hear that Fox fired Kiran Chetry. That was a big mistake. I, plus many, many of my friends, feel that she was one of your best anchors. She is also beautiful. It was so refreshing to see a beautiful brunette instead of so many blondes. Not that I don’t like blondes, but there are just so many of them. As far as Gretchen goes, she is cute and a good anchor, but still not nearly as good and beautiful as Kiran.

Fox and Friends became #1 because of the chemistry of Brian, Steve, and E.D. and they also worked at it for years, I understand people moving on. But putting Gretchen in did not improve the program. Kiran had filled in at times and did a good job. Why was she not given the chance to fill the position? I cannot watch the program anymore, the warmth is gone, Gretchen is way too stiff, and wrong in the morning, her laugh drives me up the wall.

FNC has turned out to be a bad place to work. I miss E.D. but when she left I thought Kiran should have gotten the slot. Gretchen just doesn’t have it.
I don’t know what happened with Kiran and her agent but they should have worked it out with her. The weekend show is over for me. She and Alisyn worked great together.
As said above, Greg Kelley should go back to Washington. Kelly Wright is fine, nice man. A big improvement over Julian.
Brian’s an idiot. Steve seems like a nice enough guy if he’d just shut up about his stupid book.
I’ll see where Kiran is on CNN (ugh) and if that doesn’t work there’s always Imus and all his liberal weinies at MSNBC.

I wondered what happened to Lauren Green. She did a great job doing the news for F&F. You people let Kirin go too? Gretchen is ok, but she does’nt seem to be up to speed on current events as much as Lauren and Kirin were on the show. I started watching the show because of the good chemistry these two women had with the guys that were co-anchors. They seemed to enhance each other’s personalities on the show. Sad to see them go, but I wish them much success and hope to see more of them somewhere in the future, with positions that use their talents to their fullest potentials. BAD MOVE FOR F&F PRODUCERS.

I agree with many comments before me. The BEST F&F was Steve, Brian, and E.D. Weekends Kiran, Alisyn, and Kelly. Big mistake letting Kiran go and moving the others, unless they really wanted the other jobs. Kiran should have gotten the spot when E.D. moved. Gretchen seems sweet, but I liked Kiran’s personality. Also I like Kiran and hubby Chris working together. It was cute. Why was Chris moved to a different time slot and is he being fired, too? F&F chemistry is not good like it used to be with E.D. and Kiran and Alisyn.

I miss Kiran as well, but, from what I have read it seems her agent wanted gretchen fired and Kiran to have her(Gretcen’s)spot on F&F.If this is true I don’t think that was a wise move on the agents part.I really wish Kiran could have had that spot.

I think the F&F morning show lacks the charisma that it used to have in 2006 when they had Kirin, Tiki, E.D. and the judge on regularly. I used to look forward to the days each would partner with Steve, E.D. and Brian. Alisyn and Kirin were a good pairing with Kelly Wright and I was glad when Juliet left for Dayside. She seemed too self-absorbed.
I think Fox has to do a lot of damage control to regain its morning numbers again.

Lauren Green needs to come back, Alisyn needs to get lost,Kiran is foolish,and deserves were she ended up.
E.D. Hill was an asset, for the morning show.
Most of all Fox needs to get their act togheter in regards of the morning show.
They had a good thing but failed to see it.

Do not understand…You had it and through it away. Kiran was a perfect personality for F&F. She gave the show the spark that separated it from the others. When something works why do you have to screw it up? Change for the sake of change doesn’t always work. I’m surprised and very disappointed. Was a daily viewer!

I’m speechless. I was in a coma for a year (just about) and when I came back, I not only had to deal with rehab but, all these changes!. Fox News used to be the IT Channel for me in the morning. Not anymore. I’m floundering in the morning. What to do! What to do! CNN - not a chance, not even with Kiran there. I will miss her.

I was shocked to see Gretchen in the AM instead of Kiran when EDHill was replaced. Fox made a mixtake. Gretchen just doesn’t have the personality or sense of humor that Kiran has. She was a perfect match with Steve and Brian.

For the first time in years I welcomed early morning (before work) TV news - with ED there………..Kiran and Allyson were a breath of fresh air…that whole combination with the changes on wkends made Fox number one - now I don’t even watch…….Gretchen is in a so wrong spot..where is Tiki - it all seems thrown together - goodbye number1.

Man, I know I’m older, but the recent changes on Fox and Friends are just unacceptable, I can’t migrate to their changes in anchors as quickly as they’re pushing them down my throat! Who’s running the show anyway? Management should ask the loyal viewer’s their opinions before making just major mistakes with their anchors. The faces of the previous anchors were viewed and invited into American homes daily; we trusted them! Now, it’s changed - FOX expects the viewer to trust the new anchors’ broadcasts without knowing and trusting them first. FOX has lost it’s raw and truthful appeal that once captured my attention. I pray wisdom upon their management decisions before FOX’s quick rise to fame fades forever.

I can’t believe F&F gave up Kiran for Gretchen. What a mistake. ED and Lauren gone,no Tiki. Only Steve and Brian left. Brian better not disappear. I hate to think of watching C(linton)N(etwork)N(ews) in the mornings to see an anchor with personality. Weekends are useless now- I can’t be bothered. I guess I’ll watch Star Trek reruns on Saturday mornings. FNC is too wrapped up in politics these days. If Shepard Smith disappears, I will stop watching FOX altogether. I haven’t seen him at 7pm lately. Hope it’s just vacation.

Heard that Steve said that Brian was on a personal holiday on Monday from water cooler at work - and no Gretchen…….tuned in at 6 a.m. and went back to CNN and tuned in at 7 a.m. - no Brian - No gretchen….Allyson where are you????????????? now they have canned Brian and Gretchen…Gretchen no doubt saw all the comments and gave up.

Lauren Green was the only reason that I watched Fox & Friends. She was beautiful, intelligent, and can read the news. I disagree with #23. So she had some flubs, but she could still read the news. More than what I could see and hear from those other two yahoos they got on F&F.

Gretchen is from my home State I hate to say it but she just doesn’t have it for that type of morning show. Well I’m totally lost on the weekend mornings now. Aliyson deserve the weekend show her and Kiran where so good together. Well, I for one liked Lauren and think that she would do well to go to CNN or MSNBC. While I do watch F&F in the moring, I think they would be better to bring in someone to balance out the two obviously Conservative Republicans (Steve & Brian). The only thing fair and balanced on Fox is the weather.

Finally a place to complaint about FOX…Back in September, I believe is when all the changes started at FOX with the arrival of Gretchen Carlson (Miss Non-personality, Miss non everything). Several people from Rhode Island wrote to Mr. Ailes to complain when E.D Hill was replace with Gretchen, (don’t bother to write, he does not reply),Sense a bit of uneasiness between Steve D., Brian K. and Gretchen…… Allison, please no……she is as bad if not worse than Gretchen…Loren Greene welcome back, but beware…..…But, when Karin left, presumable because of Gretchen, followed by Karin’s husband, was a mistake……..FOX is slowly losing viewers…can’t be #1 all the time!!

I cannot believe Lauren Green, Karin Chetry,E.D Hill and Chris Knowles are all gone. I have been A loyal Fox News contributor and supporter from day one. I am irate over what’s going on. Fair and balanced? Conservative honest reporting without all the “fluff”. I might as well be watching CNN. Fox has literally left me no other choice. Your only hope for Fox’s survival are people like is Shawn Hannity. I’m so disgusted what A shame to watch Fox cave in and turn into A circus news station. I am never watching again.

Just found Karin’s schedule, quite by accident, she has been on CNN all week from 6-9 a.m. opposite Steve, Brian and God awful Gretchen….CNN made a good move so far…..maybe Karin can knock of Gretchen, sorry Steve and Brian…and FOX will get what they deserve for whatever has been going on since September…..Hate to see reaction if they (FOX) got rid of Shepard Smith!!!! Exhausting events at Fox!
E.D. was smart and lively in the a.m.; Gretchen is stiff and boring and annoying.
Kiran, Alison and Kelly were a breath of fresh air after the Julian Philips days (he was painful and irritating)
I don’t know what’s happening……Courtney Friel is a dimwitted-california-blond stereotype and gives the rest of us blonds a bad name.
Lauren was thoughtful, beautiful, smart and talented.
Please bring back E.D. during the week (or Kieren!)
Please bring back Alison to weekends (and/or Kieren)

I am so glad FOX got rid of “Uppedy” Julian Phillips.
He just thought he was so high class & better than the rest of us!! You could tell that the other host did not like him.

I love F&Fs. I have been so disappointed and wondering what is going on with their employees. Did a search and now realize the best are leaving. What is really going on? Why did ED go to another time slot?

I don’t miss ED at all. I was never a big ED fan. I think she was a know-it-all and full of herself. I think Gretchen does a great job.
Kiran was great, but what is Fox supposed to do? Her agent overplayed his/her hand and blew the deal. Now she is exiled to CNN, a horrendous news organization.
I think Fox’s success is based on the “environment” created by the whole of the people on air and not on any one individual. If one of them leaves, they will be missed, but it wouldn’t be enough to sway me to MSNB or CNN. Fox would have to stop broadcasting before that would happen.

I have no clue what’s going on at Fox. One at a time you’re replacing class acts with empty-headed twits. E.D., Lauren, Kiran, Chris, and now I hear talk of Gretchen leaving? It’s taken her a little while but she’s finally finding a chemistry with Steve & Brian. Where’s Janice, Paige and others who’ve faithfully worked and paid their dues???? I hate to say it, but folks won’t watch and keep you #1 if you continue this downhill slide.

I agree with many of these comments. Gretchen simply does not have the personality to fit and and Gretchen combined with your many losses (i.e. Karin, Lauren, Chris) have lost you two viewers in our household. The show is no longer fun.

First of all whoever is making the executive decisions at Fox is really out of touch and is the exact one who needs to be replaced. Letting Kiran go, wow, what a hugh mistake. Putting Gretchen in instead of Kiran, how stupid was that decision. I miss Kiran, ED Hill and Juliet Huddy. Allison is good. I like Greg Kelly…he’s cute. I absolutely love Kelly Wright, Steve and Brian. I also absolutely loved Kiran too and wish the responsible Fox stupid executive would bite the bullet get her back along with Chris. The only good decision this executive made was getting rid of Julian Phillips.

I left F&F after Gretchen replaced ED. The wonderful morning magic was gone. But I check in once in while and have found that Lauren Green was gone, and Kirin, and…….I am sure Gretchen is a lovely person but just doesn’t fill the void left by the actions of heavy handed producers, directors and exec’s. who thought they knew more than the viewers. I won’t be there, but I hope for the best for my once-upon-a-time-morning-companions.

Steve overdoes it with his class clown routine. Gretchen is starting to relax a bit. Brian is cool. Loren was great. E.D. is a domestic control freak. Allison is all about herself. Hannity needs to be committed now. O’Reilly has found a way to run the country and make money doing it. Very few “personalities” on Fox anymore who aren’t full of themselves. What a shame.

I have been a dedicated F/F (before work) morning person for years. I decided not to watch my local news because I found a connection with the different personalities. I was shocked to learn my favorite (Lauren Green) was no longer a part of the morning show. I was equally shocked to learn that ED Hill had also departed the morning show. As for Lauren Green, I wish her well and I pray for continued success as a Religion Correspondent. It was God sent and as I can appreciate it, she has to be a born again christian to be successful here. God Bless……

Now I know what happened to Kieren…big mistake losing her. I’ve from MN and though Lauren wasn’t my favorite, she was still better than a lot of them. Also, not a big fan of Gretchen, she’s not a natural. Kieren was! She should have replaced EDHill. Alyson needs to zip it..too much about her! You’re going to loose viewers and wonder why! I think you need to ask us who we want to watch!

I am comfortable with most of the people on Fox.I prefer some to others but the bottom line is that all the women on Fox are attractive,bright,and personable.More importantly,I appreciate the fact I can enjoy one channel without feeling my mind is being manipulated.

I think E.D. Hill is doing a great job on her new mid-morning show. Gretchen has really grown on me and Alyson is a lot of fun and doing a great job! I do miss Lauren Green, however, as she is very sweet but I am thrilled that Kiran got the boot. She was always too hyper and disjointed and is much better suited for CNN. What happened to Julian Phillips? Where is he working now?

I miss Lauren badly, she is pretty damn good. Alisyn is Awesome and makes any show worth watching. Whenever the Judge is hosting F&F the show gets instant credibility and high interest. Andrew Napolitano is PERFECT to lead Fox and Friends. He is credible, honest, balanced, insightful, and very intelligent. Pair him up with Alisyn and maybe Kelly Wright, Martha MacCallum, Megyn Kelly, Julie Baneras, even Gretchen, and Fox will hit anything out of the park with that lineup.

Fox and Friends seriously needs to re-think it’s morning line-up or face the vertigo of spinning down the toilet while viewership declines in mass. Steve (buy my book) Doocy is a total idiot and makes the show intolerable. While Brian is a nice guy, his insight is pointless and stupid. Gretchen has grown on me but she desperately needs better people around her (i.e The Judge). I can only tolerate the first hour of F&F only because of Alisyn. After that the channel goes off.

I haven’t watched Fox and Friends since Kiran left. I followed her to her new morning show on CNN. She has somehow gotten the others around her to lighten up and act as if they are enjoying their work, something that was missing before.
I switch back to FOX as soon as Kiran’s show is over. I wonder what the morning ratings have been since she left?

Fox and Friends goes downhill everyday. MSNBC has a better show during this time frame. Doocy is the dumbest and most inarticulate man on TV and to cover these inadequacies he talks like a clown–you can have fun without acting stupid. Reading the temperatures and relocating major elements of geography during his so-called weather forecasts drives one up a wall. The weekend lineup beats the mon-fri group hands down.

Lauren Green was always a lady and a lady is difficult to find these days. Never did she see how much thigh she could show, even when filling in for E.D. Fox is becoming an entertainment channel, not the news channel it was once.

I hate change, and since F&F got rid of E.D. Hill, I hardly watch the show anymore. She was one of the reasons for the show’s success, and they did her wrong.(Did they think that she was getting too old?) Gretchen just does not have it. I also loved the chemistry between E.D. and Lauren.

Fox & Friends PLEASE bring ED Hill back! I’m sick of Gretchen and her “flirting” with Steve and Brian. She is constantly wiggling around trying to see how much of her leg she can show. I’m sorry, but it is just not working. ED had such a great chemistry with the guys. It was like a family. She was articulate, knowledgeable on the issues, and passionate. I loved it when she would get “steamed” about something! When Gretchen is steamed, it just doesn’t phase me…I don’t understand why Fox made this decsion, and why the viewers weren’t notified that changes were coming. I kind of took it personally. I felt like I lost a friend when ED left F&F! Fox needs to think about revamping again and going back to the old days…those were the days!!!! Steve, ED, and Brian. Now that was a team!
I also greatly miss Kiran Chetry and Chris Knowles. They were great together. I have watched her some on CNN. She has done a lot to liven up that show!!! Great job, Kiran!

Oh my gosh…just because someone is let go or fired doesn’t mean the network isn’t fair and balanced. What idiot would believe that? People come and go and changes are inevitalbe. ED Hill wanted a later time slot…geez the woman has 7 kids. Lauren Green is a wonderful pianist and this isn’t her life! Keiren didn’t get the money she wanted…big deal. Anyone on FOX is better than the dinosaurs they have on the other networks. Brian and Steve are funny and inteligent. Gretchen is good as well but the mix has to be good so they might have to change it up…get over it.

I WAS excited at your move for Lauren Greene . She is an intelligent , classy , beautiful Christian woman . There is a HUGE market waiting for someone like her . You took ED Hill from us. ( F & F has NOT been the same since) Today Rick Warren was scheduled to give the Easter Message . A BIG plus ( for a major news outlet ) …major media recognizing FINALLY just how much of their audience IS CHRISTIAN.Then you totally BLEW IT ….you interupted “his message” a WORSHIP SERVICE with breaking news …Yes the Captain of that ship was brave …yes he did a courageous thing …yes he will be a hero .
